What People Are Saying

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice looking range Cooktop burners heat quickly. Disappointed in convection oven option. Takes 10-12 minutes longer to bake cupcakes and cake. Bottom drawer flimsy. Touch panel difficult to operate - requires strong press rather than light touch to turn heat up/down. Standard oven feature works fine.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from LG Range I have to get used to not having knobs and all the electronics.....still figuring the range out
Date published: 2019-06-14
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Follow the instructions for trouble free ownership I did not have any difficulty installing the power cord. Need to use safety gloves to prevent cuts from the sheet metal. The test run on page 18 went well. The anti tip device installed well. The quick reference guide was very useful in telling how to prevent scratches, chips, and pitting in the glass-ceramic cooktop. I bought this range to match my LG refrigerator for the gorgeous black stainless finish. I plan to replace my microwave with an LG black stainless model to match the range and the refrigerator. Really good looking appliances. I expect the same reliability from the range as I have been getting from my LG refrigerator.

Hello, we do not have a set family, so to say, any units marked ST or Stainless Steel will match the LRE3061ST.

Please explain the Easy Clean feature as it compares to a Self Cleaning Oven (SCO)  A " SCO" will normally clean the entire oven interior leaving a mound of residue resulting from the Self Cleaning  Easy Clean process involves wiping down the interior??

Asked by: Jim Easy
Hello Jim. The EasyClean® feature takes advantage of LG’s EasyClean® enamel technology to help lift soils without harsh chemicals, and it runs using ONLY WATER for just 10 minutes or 20 minutes in low temperatures to help loosen LIGHT soils before hand-cleaning. While EasyClean® is quick and effective for small and LIGHT soils, the Self Clean feature can be used to remove HEAVY, built up soils. The intensity and high heat of the Self Clean cycle may result in smoke which will require the opening up of windows to provide ventilation. Compared to the more intense Self Clean process, your LG oven gives you the option of cleaning with LESS HEAT, LESS TIME, and virtually NO SMOKE OR FUMES. Since the LG Black Stainless Steel Series 6.3 cu. ft. Single Oven Electric Range with EasyClean®, Model # LRE3061BD doesn't include a self-clean option, you will need to clean the oven regularly using the EasyClean® feature to prevent heavy, burnt-on soil from building up in the oven because the EasyClean® feature may not be effective in removing heavy, built-up soils...^IFV

Why does the fan run in bake mode on my new LRE3061ST?

Asked by: Sdfort
We appreciate you interest in this Range. It is normal for the convection fan to run while preheating during a regular bake cycle and the convection fan motor may run periodically during a regular bake cycle. This would be considered normal operation.

I biught this oven and used it yesterday. I put it at 450 for 1 hour just like the manual said. The exterior oven door got so hot it burned my hand. I called customer service and they said it was "normal" for this product to get this hot. Is this true?

Asked by: Allisond
We regret the trouble you have experienced with this electric range. Yes, it is normal for the door to the oven to be heated when the interior temperature is so high. As with all ovens, it is not recommended to touch the door or the glass pane in the door, as they can transmit heat from the interior. Only the door handle should be touched.

While cooking on top, why are the burners turning red and black? Is this normal?

Asked by: Punkinh
We appreciate your interest in this electric range. The burners on the surface of this range are electrical coils which conduct heat and can take on a red hue. Once deactivated, the burners should return to their otherwise dark appearance. If this does not appear to be the case, please contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000 to troubleshoot the matter.

What amp breaker should I have in my electric panel for this stove. I have a 40 from my previous oven?

Asked by: Jat300
We appreciate your interest in this electric range. The fuse to be used will depend upon the electrical outlet and power cord being used. According to your owner’s manual, if your electrical outlet is a Single Phase, 3-wire AC cord, then a minimum of 40 Amps should be available. However, if a 4-wire power supply cord is used, then the breaker needs to be rated for 50 Amps. This information can be located on pages 15-17 of your owner’s manual.

I have this stove and am wondering how & what is the best thing to use to clean the stove top?

Asked by: BSH2
Use ceramic cooktop cleaner on the glass cooktop. Other creams may not be as effective or may scratch, damage or stain the cooktop surface. Do not use scrub pads or abrasive cleaning pads. They may damage your cooktop surface. For your safety, wear an oven mitt or pot holder while using a scraper on the hot cooking surface. This information can be found on page 33 of the owner’s manual.

We regret the inconvenience you have experienced with this electric oven. Unfortunately, we have no paint available for the trim around the glass cooktop. The only way to fix this would be to replace the entire cooktop of the range.
