What People Are Saying

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good looking excellent features. We had it for a few weeks, the first one delivered damaged, this one so far so good. Not a lot of time spent with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Many Features I just installed this range about two weeks ago and really enjoy it. I haven't figured out all the features yet but am working on it. I wish they had used black lettering on the knobs. I could have seen them better, also I'm 81 that may make a difference. I really like the dual clean ability. I haven't had to use either one yet.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works well My previous range did not simmer well. No problem with my new one! Lots of features...in fact I am still experimenting with them. The only negative is how difficult it is to keep the glass top clean and the screen for the controls should have a back-light. It is almost impossible to use in low light.

Greetings! My LSE4613ST was just delivered and I thought it would flange over the counter top like so many of the other slide-in ranges will do. Now I have an ugly unfinished edge to deal with. Is there a separate or optional kit available?

Asked by: Hans and Bonnie
You can buy a high temperature caulk and fill the gap that way or you could have a small piece of tin or metal bent 90 degrees and could use that to fill the gap. I think you can buy universal kits on line that may do the job. You can also ask at home depot or lowes and they should be able to show you an example. My preference would be the high temperature caulk as I think it would give you the cleanest look when all is done.

I was wondering what the and where the decor guard go?  Thanks

Asked by: Josha
Hi Josha. We are not clear on what the "decor guard" is and would need some clarification. If you are referring to the rear guard, the LG LG Black Stainless Steel Series 6.3 cu. ft. Electric Slide-in Range with ProBake Convection® and EasyClean®, Model # LSE4613BD is a Slide-In and unlike Freestanding Ranges, Slide-In Ranges feature the burner and oven controls up front. Freestanding ranges, on the other hand, have a backguard which features the oven controls and burner controls (burner controls are usually in the back for electric ranges and up front for gas ranges)...^IFV

How do I remove the oven door

Asked by: Star215
We appreciate your interest in this range. According to page 44 of the owner’s manual, begin by fully opening the door. Unlock the hinge locks, rotating them as far toward the open door frame as they will go. Firmly grasp both sides of the door at the top. Once this is done, close the door to the removal position (approximately 5 degrees) which is halfway between the broil stop-position and fully closed. If the position is correct, the hinge arms will move freely. Lift the door up and out until the hinge arms are clear of the slots. Re-installation can be viewed on page 45 of the manual.

Where does the Decor Guard go on this stove?

Asked by: Wendy Blake
I goes on the back so if your oven is in an island, it hides the small space where the counter top meets the back of the stove.  If it is positioned against a wall you wouldn't need it.

If you can access the back of the stove you can remove 4 screws and the vent thing comes off. Not convenient but at least it can be cleaned when it is really annoying.

I have gone over the Manual 4 times and nowhere is there a mention of how or when to use the Ultra Heat dial or what it's main function is. Can you give me a hint?

Asked by: Schmidt
We appreciate your interest in this range. The Ultra Heat knobs operate the 2 front burners, which both have Dual Heating Elements. When turning this element knob COUNTER-CLOCKWISE, the inner heating element will activate in the same manner as one of the single-element burners. However, when turning the knob CLOCKWISE, both the inner AND outer elements will activate simultaneously for added heating performance. Additional information about this feature can be located on pages 26-27 of your owner’s manual.
