What people are saying
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fantastic and Well Designed with a Painful Start This is an amazing oven that not only looks great but performs wonderfully. The problem is that there is a design flaw that allows for a wire to one of the elements to rub against the sharp edge of the aluminum pan under the two large elements and create an arc that not only melts a portion of the pan but destroys the wire. The aluminum pan has corners that have a rounded edge but apparently this isn't complete enough and a sharp edge can still make contact with the wires. We had to spend countless hours and two technician visits to find this problem. I STRONGLY SUGGEST LG LOOK AT THIS DESIGN FLAW TO PREVENT OTHER SIMILAR PROBLEMS. A $3000 oven should not have this design flaw!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Exquisite Still getting used to the features and controls, but like all the options and cleanability. Love the versatility of the cooktop and cooking ability of oven. Only negatives so far is wish the control panel and knobs illuminated. Haven't gotten "The Tag" to function, but don't think it is an option on our stove yet it has it on knob and display.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Oven! This oven is super. Did learn one thing. Forget how you cooked on your old stove and read the manual. We fought with this for a couple meals by trying to cook using old techniques. We re-read the manual and followed the recommendations and a whole new world of efficiencies and great meals followed. Also recommend you make sure your current pots/pans are perfectly flat. We had a couple that a family member warped with our pervious stove. Wife is a recreational baker and the same rules showed be followed. Follow the manual and you can not go wrong. We are so so happy with our LG kitchen and laundry products. Our front loading laundry suite is going on 18 years old. 1 water solenoid(washer), and 1 moisture sensor (dryer) is all the repair maintenance that has had to be done. We follow the LG regular maintenance and so happy with these units. Just replaced our dishwasher with a top LG dishwasher. It will surprise you how clean your dishes come out and you cannot hear it running. You will hear the water draining into the sink but I don't think any manufacturer can get around that. Absolutely an incredible machine. Also have a 10+ year old LG french door fridge. We went through several high dollar fridges over the years and have been extremely disappointed. This LG fridge is super quiet and just keeps on working. Never any issues with the ice maker which was chronic with all the other brands we owned. Just follow the recommended maintenance and you will have years of great service. Thanks LG!

Does the range slide up against the wall or do you need a bridge behind it

Asked by: Lestermrnorm
If the counter does not bridge the opening at the rear wall the rear filler kit, that is provided with the LG STUDIO - 6.3 cu. ft. Electric Slide-In-range with ProBake Convection®, Model # LSSE3029BD, will be needed. If your countertop depth is greater than 25", there will be a gap between the filler kit and the back wall. If the countertop depth is less than 24", the control panel will not sit flush with the countertop...^IFV

What is the best pots and pans do use

Asked by: Debbie Salem
We appreciate your interest in this electric range. The recommendations for appropriate cookware are listed on page 28 of the owner’s manual, and include heavy-gauge pans with tight-fitting lids, where the weight of the handle does not cause a tilt. The cookware should have straight sides and flat bottoms.

What size breaker needed? 60amp? Thanks

Asked by: Bob f18966
Hi Bob f18966. The LG Studio - 6.3 cu. ft. Electric Slide-In-range with ProBake Convection®, Model # LSSE3029BD can be connected using either a 3-wire connection or 4-wire connection. Which one to use will depend on your local building codes and regulations or in their absence, with the National Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPA 70. This range requires a single-phase, 3 wire, A.C 120/208 V or 120/240 V 60 Hz electrical system and you should use only a 3-conductor or a 4-conductor UL - listed range cord with closed-loop terminals, open-end spade lugs with upturned ends or similar termination. Do not install the power cord without a strain relief. A range cord rated at 40 amps with 120/240 minimum volt range is required. If a 50 amp range cord is used, it should be marked for use with 13/8" diameter connection openings. This appliance may be connected by means of a conduit or power cord. Only a 4-conductor power-supply cord kit rated 120/240 volts, 50 amperes and marked for use with ranges with closed loop connectors or opened spade lugs with upturned ends should be used...^IFV
