What People Are Saying

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love my new appliances. I am very satisfied with all of them

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Most Amazing Deal Along With Great Dryer When the dryer went went out in our rental house, we decided to buy a new one. We looked at a few stores before stopping at one. This dryer was on clearance merely for "scratches." Those were easily taken care of by a magic eraser. To have my clothes and towels dry in half to a quarter of the time the old dryer did is going to save so much.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this washer! I bought this washer about a month ago and love all the features on it! At last I now can wash my bedspreads and large blankets at home instead of taking them to a dirty, germ filled laundromat. Absolutely in love!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Dryer Drum= Achilles Heel We purchased our dryer a little over a year ago and with normal wear and tear we subsequently had a crack in our drum. I understand that parts don’t last forever but it’s been terrible trying to get a replacement. It is not offered through LG. The actual part has been updated from the original making me believe that they had fixed the deficiencies. But again the part has been backordered for almost 2 months. It’s almost not worth it to be without the dryer and stuck in limbo for a replacement part. I may just have to purchase a new model and my confidence in this defect may lead me to another company for simply the lack of support and parts available.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This machine has exceeded my expectations I have had this dryer for a little over a month, and I am very pleased with its performance. It dries so much more quickly and efficiently than my last dryer. I haven't even had a chance to use all of its sophisticated settings yet! I look forward to this dryer lasting for a looong time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful dryer This is my 2nd LG dryer,I have been extremely pleased

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nearly perfect This is our second LG washer/dryer pair. We upgraded with our recent purchase and are enjoying the extra features (especially the steam options). The only issue is a periodic rattling noise when the dryer is running. Otherwise, the overall rating would be a "5-star."

Please provide measurements for the location of vent at the back of dryer (DLEX 3070).

I am trying to locate where to put the vent exhaust to outside. The builder asked if I can give him measurement for the location of the rear vent on the dryer. Example: x number of inches from bottom of dryer to bottom of vent, and x number of inches from right side of dryer to side of vent (when facing the back of dryer)..
Asked by: Bonzo
The 4 inch vent is right in the center of the dryer and is only about 2 inches off the ground. This all changes if you stack the units, then add the height of the washer to the 2 inches.

Signal not working with wrinkle care

I set the dryer to Normal and added wrinkle care. The signal shows high on the the display. When the clothes are dry the signal does not sound. The dryer will spin again for a short period of time and stop. Again no signal. I had a Cabrio that would signal done. If you didn't get the clothes it would run then signal again. The LG is not doing this.
Asked by: winebeast
We regret the trouble you have experienced with this dryer. The END SIGNAL is only supposed to sound at the end of the actual dry cycle. It is not activated in between the Wrinkle Care tumbles. This is normal operation.

Can the DLEX3470R be stacked on my existing WM1814CW washer with a WSTK1 stacking kit?

Asked by: rickjen06
As it turns out, the WM1814CW is not in my data base anymore. If the dimensions are the same as the DLEX3470R, than yes, and the WSTK1 would be the appropriate stacking kit. For clarification please feel free to visit the LG LiveChat Team at www.lg.com/us/support/message-customer-support for assistance. They can probably find the dimensions of the WM1814CW in their system.

Does this dryer turn off after mulitple loads?

When drying a load right after the first one, the dryer will start for 2 seconds then stop and restart again about 5 - 10 minutes later. We've had this dryer for a year and a half now and it's been fine with drying load after load. It's been doing this for about 3 months now, I have just placed a third service call with Sears because of this problem. I would like to know if this is normal for this dryer.
