What People Are Saying

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Less than 2 yrs old I have had to have the rollers replaced on this machine. It is not even a 1.5.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great refrigerator. I bought this because it was a great price. I love the 2 ice makers. Only thing I would change would be more room in the refrigerator for juice or tea bottles. Shelf height is a little low. Still a great refrigerator though.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Less than I expected. We bought this dryer several months ago. The salesman assured us it was equipped with the WiFi features. Turns out it’s only half equipped. Buyer Beware! This model has the “Tap On” feature and the “Smart Diagnostic” feature and the “Download” cycle feature. But no other WiFi features. And I have been trying for months to get the Download cycle to work to no avail. I made sure it was registered on the website first. Then downloaded the Smart ThinQ app. Logged into the app. My registered dryer appears. Yet none of the download features appear. Still working with tech which was a form email response with pourly explained links which were of NO help whatsoever. Also, it stops before the clothes are dry. Consistently. Unless you use the Speed Dry “Manual Timed Dry” cycle. Every other cycle uses the Sensor Dry feature which is not disablabel. LG suggests the dryer be full enough with items so they rub against the sensor located just inside the door on the lint filter cage. This is a real problem finding the goldilocks amount. Too few and they don’t rub the sensor. Too many and they don’t tumble enough to get the items in the center dry. We have yet to find the perfect amount. What good are 10 different cycles when only one functions properly? The Steam Fresh cycle is nice for removing wrinkles from clothes before wearing with a short Speed Dry at the end because they’re damp. We feel hoodwinked. Both by our salesman and LG with this model. We feel it’s in the middle of old and new technology and neither work well or at all. We recently purchased our new home. We plan to replace every appliance. Washer/Dryer combo was our first purchase. IAfter this we won’t be revisiting that salesman, his store or the LG lineup.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Returning this Just had this dryer installed and was extremely shocked and upset. Of all the years I have owned a dryer with a light in the drum this one does not have one. And also the black operating panel Does not illuminate to see options for drying

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Symbol I don’t understand When using a setting that uses the dry sensor to dry my clothes, sometimes the cycle stops and a broken dashed line encircles the time display and no time is displayed and the clothes are not dry. What is the dryer trying to tell me?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this dryer I thought a dry was a dryer and no more BUT this one has so many features. I can reduce static, prepare the clothes for ironing if necessary, and on the permanent press cycle cool down, the clothes come out almost wrinkle-free!

Can the washer and dryer be stacked with the pedastals? Or just one pedastal?

Asked by: Bettyscully
Hello Bettyscully, forgive us if we did not fully understand your questions, but we are going to take a crack at it. For these units, you may choose to either stack each unit on it's own pedestal, making you have a washing machine and dryer with 2 pedestals. You may also stack the dryer on top of the washing machine on top of a pedestal, making you have only one of each. You may also choose to not have a pedestal at all and have them sit side by side or stacked. Please give us a call at 1-800-243-0000 or drop us a line on Twitter at @LGUSSupport or on Facebook at @LGUSSupport if you have any other question. ^AC

I know the dryer needs a 30A, 240V hookup but since I have a small generator I need to know exactly how much power this machine draws so I can see if my generator can handle it. Can you tell me that?

Asked by: ChuckQ1
Hi ChuckQ1. Regrettably, we do not have access to the information that is stamped on the nameplate for the motor in this ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 7.4 cu. ft. Ultra Large Capacity SteamDryer™ w/ NFC Tag On, Model # DLEX3370V to tell you exactly how much power the machine draws. However, Power is the product of Amperage multiplied by Voltage so to get an idea of how much power this unit will draw, simply multiply 30 A x 240 V = 7.2kW (7,200 watts). Please contact our Support Center at (800) 243-0000 for assistance with the requested information. Keep in mind that the power draw will vary on your load size and you selected cycle. YOu will also need to ask about the startup or surge wattage as this will be considerably higher than the running wattage when the motor in the dryer first turns on even though it only lasts for a few seconds...^IFV

If measured from the front edge of my current dryer to the back of the closet wall I have 33" will this dryer fit? The women in Sears told me we need 36" is that true?

Asked by: Samantha9917
Hello, per the specifications of the unit, it is 29 3/4", plus you will need approximately 5" in the rear for your exhaust connection and 1" in the front for clearance. The unit is 51" deep with the door open not including the space needed for clearance. ^AC
