How do you reset after check filter feature shuts it off?

Hello, the check filter always flashes on the unit as a reminder to clean the filter and does not have the ability to turn the unit off. Of you received an error message, we would need that message. Please give us a call at 1-800-243-0000 so we can further help. ^AC

Can someone answer how long the DLEX8500V model was available and why it was discontinued? I was looking to purchase one, never used from an individual but wanted more information on the model.

We appreciate your interest in this electric dryer. This particular model should have been available for the span of about a year. This model has not been discontinued, so much as replaced by different models with different feature sets. Product failures are not common, with this unit, but should something happen, we are still ready to assist with this model. Please note, however, that a product purchased from an individual, rather than from an authorized retailer, carries no manufacturer’s warranty.

Ck filter light flashes even though it's clean. Frustrating how can I reset? Notice lg is getting bad marks for this.

We appreciate your interest in this electric dryer. According to the information in your owner’s manual, the DISPLAY panel will show CHECK FILTER when the dryer is turned on as a reminder to check the filter. It turns off when the START/PAUSE button is pressed. This is normal operation.

I found the dryer shooting out stream of water instead of vaporized steam. Anything wrong?

We regret the inconvenience you have experienced with this electric dryer. If the End of Cycle Signal does not sound when it should, then it is suggested that the SIGNAL option may have been deactivated. Press the SIGNAL button repeatedly, on the display, until the desired volume setting has been achieved.
