What people are saying
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very quiet and great cleaning. I bought this a couple weeks ago and so far really like it. I use the Auto wash cycle and overnight dry and the dishes are pretty much all dry. And I always make sure the Rinse Aid is full. I like the adjustable racks. My husband really likes the silverware basket with a hole for each item. I find the way the detergent "cup" to located that it is a bit hard for me to fill. Maybe that is because It seems backwards to me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Value - Fine Machine A close dryer is not something I would usually get excited about, but this product works so well I can't help feeling very good about my purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great machine Very efficient, relatively quiet, and plays tunes rather than beeping! We were able to stack this on top of an LG washer in our condo until. A huge improvement from our old dryer!

how to clean lint filter compartment?

After a load with excessive lint, when the filter was removed for cleaning; some of the lint fell off and into the filter compartment . It seems to have lodged in the lower part of the channel the filter itself slips into. Now the filter does not fit all the way into it's slot, so not all the lint is being trapped any longer. How can I clean the compartment itself? This needs to occur ASAP as I have noticed the problem is very slowly getting worse as yet more lint accumulates in the slot the filter should fit into. FYI, in our rural area there is no qualified technician available since the one who installed our machines moved away... which meant that company no longer services our area. therefore, I must do this one myself. thanks kindly for an answer

We regret the trouble you have experienced with this gas dryer. It is recommended to attempt extending a vacuum cleaner nozzle into the lint trap housing to see if that which has come loose might be drawn from the unit. After I set the dryer and hit "Start" button, it bings and shuts off.

Any ideas for the cause? I've tried it on multiple settings and times. Model DLG 2051W

How do I level this machine

Model DLG2051W on a pedistal. It began a loud rattle sound recently. The sound deminishes when I push back just a bit (not moving the item, just pushing with one hand). I believe it needs leveling. I do not know how. Is there someone you can recommend in my area?
Asked by: sunbeam39
All four leveling feet must rest solidly on the floor. Gently push on the top corners of the dryer to make sure that the dryer does not rock from corner to corner. Adjust the leveling feet only as far as necessary to level the dryer. Extending the leveling feet more than necessary can cause the dryer to vibrate. Use an adjustable wrench to turn the leveling feet. Turn them clockwise to raise the dryer, or counterclockwise to lower it.

Can the LG 7.1 gas dryer be side vented

Asked by: themanwhoasked
Yes, Page 13 in the manual will explain: Changing the Dryer Vent Location Your new dryer is shipped to vent to the rear. It can also be configured to vent to the bottom or side (right-side venting is not available on gas models). An adapter kit, part number 383EEL9001B, may be purchased from your LG retailer. This kit contains the necessary duct components to change the dryer vent location. Thank you. We appreciate your feedback, please give us a “thumbs up” if this answer is helpful to you; and please let us know if we can assist you with anything else. Have a lovely week!

Dryer heating but not drying

I keep running my dlg2051w dryer on a normal cycle, it appears to be adequately heating the clothes, but it takes several runs for the clothes to get dry. What am I doing wrong?
Asked by: RonH
We regret the trouble you have experienced with this dryer. If heat is going into the clothing, yet the clothes do not get dry, this is often caused by blockage in the exhaust duct and / or lint filter.
