Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lint Filter Dryer is 5 1/2 years old and I have the identical problem reported under reviews; that is, the right corner of the lint filter has apparently melted to the extent the filter doesn't seat properly and snags clothes as it dries. I have never had this problem in the 30 years since I started washing and drying clothes! No I'm looking for a replacement filter which I shouldn't have to pay for.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Function and Value I bought this dryer along with an LG washer three years ago. I am very happy with my purchase of both appliances and would highly recommend them to others. There are many settings and the dryer does a great job with delicate items all the way to thick comforters and towels. If I moved and had to purchase a new set, I would buy this one again. Thank you LG for building such good quality appliances.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Machine - Good Value I bought this washing machine three years ago and was sharing my thoughts with friends on how much I liked it and they suggested I become an LG spokesperson. This machine is by far one of the best I have ever owned. It is quiet, cleans well, is easy to clean and maintain, and has no lingering odor like many other front loaders and the features are excellent. There is a wash delay, steam, allergen and sanitizing features. I steam wash expensive down comforters and they come out beautifully. I wash my husband's dress shirts he wears daily and they come out looking fabulous. It also cleans heavily soiled clothing as well. If I purchased a new home and had to leave this washer, I would not hesitate to buy the exact same one.

How many cubic feet per minute does my dryer exhaust?

Model number DLGX3471
Asked by: tomstpete
We appreciate your interest in this gas dryer. The manufacturer does not have any specifications regarding the CFM rating for the exhaust. It is simply required to install a duct line 4” in diameter. It is recommended to make this exhaust line as short as possible. If you have additional questions about this product, please contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000.

Are the doors on the washers and dryers reversible?

Our dryer will sit on the left and the washer on the right.
Asked by: movingtotexas
I believe they are reversible. The guys that were installing my dryer saw my washer on the left (the washer's door opens to the left) so since I wanted my dryer on the right of the washer, they put the door to open to the right.

In the manual it is recommended that you NOT use distilled water so I've been using tap water.

Can you tell me the height at the middle of the washer door from the floor.

Model # DLGX3471. I have back problems so I would like to know the height of the door placement on the washer/dryer. I am assuming the majority of LG models are the same.
Asked by: Judith
If you have back problems, I strongly suggest getting the pedestal drawer under the Washer and Dryer. It makes bending minimal; the only drawback to the pedestal is you cannot comfortably fold clothes on the top of machines, but the trade off for no bending and back pain is well worth it; plus the extra storage is wonderful.

What is the minimun distance between the back wall and the back of a DLGX3471?

The dryer is purchased, but not yet delivered. It will be installed in a smaller space and I am wondering how short a vent I can use.

We are interested in the following washer & dryer - WM3470HVA and DLGX3471V.

The depth of both units is listed at 29.75 inches. How much additional clearance is required behind the units (to the wall)?
Asked by: Fuzz
About 6 inches (mostly due to exhaust vent). Total final depth from wall is 36 inches
