Rated 1 out of 5 by from Issues from day 1. I purchase this dryer along with its washer companion on January 1st, 2020. Since it was a new model I had to wait until January 26th 2020 for my local Lowe's to deliver it. By day two and maybe the 3rd usage the unit would not power up even though the main panel breaker was still on. I found YouTube videos about unplugging the unit and pressing the start/pause key for 5 seconds. Only then did the unit power up. Due to work schedule and Covid 19 issues I haven't had an opportunity to schedule LG out for service. The issue still remains to this date, unit doesn't power up after 2 or 3 cycles. Today June 16th is enough for patience calling out LG for service.

Do you need a water connection for the function to work on steam models?

The ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 7.3 cu.ft. Smart Wi-Fi Enabled Gas Dryer with TurboSteam™, Model # DLGX7801VE features a water inlet valve that has to be connected to your cold water supply line. Included with the dryer are a long and short hose and a "Y" connector that can be used to share the cold water supply line with your washer...^IFV

How much weight are you allowed to put in the dryer? For instance after washing my comforter it feels so heavy to put into the dryer. What is a safe amount of weight?

The recommended weight of wet clothes in a load should not exceed 12 lbs.

Can I use dryer sheets in the LG dryer . Mine is 4 years old and I was told no but I would like to try the Downey wrinkle sheets in my dryer .

What is the correct LP Conversion kit model # that goes with the DLGX7801VE?
