What People Are Saying

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Simple to setup I've had my sound bar for a couple of weeks and it really makes a difference with the experience of watching movies. It fits in seamlessly with the overall configuration of the tv, it's hardly noticeable. Definitely would recommend for a purchase, it's so simple to setup and use.

What does the button on the remote do with star and moon?

Asked by: Ordine
The Star & Moon feature is to lower the sound from the subwoofer if the Night_ON is activated. When the Night_OFF is activated the sound will return to normal. The button is more to respect to sound to others around the area. But if you don't care who's gonna hear you blast your movies, music or games... Leave it on OFF_Night Mode!

I purchased the lg 2.1 ch. Wireless sound bar 220w. How do we connect the sound bar to the tv also having the xbox one in use as well ?

Asked by: Nicole75
We appreciate your interest in this Sound Bar System. Depending upon the design of your television, it is generally recommended to connect the game system to the TV, and then have only the TV connected directly to the Sound Bar system, by way of the signal Optical cable.

Asked by: 528will
Typically, the Subwoofer for Sound Bars like that on the LG 2.1ch 220W Sound Bar with Wireless Subwoofer, Model # LAS450H or on Home Theater Systems or Surround Sound systems are designed for the loud crashing and rumbling sounds and not for voices. You should not be hearing voices through the Subwoofer...^IFV

How do I reset the subwoofer. The light is blinking green. A friend did this for me the first time but didn't show me how. Help please!

Asked by: Hiedi
When your connection is not complete, you can see the red LED or the blinking of yellow-green LED on the wireless subwoofer and the subwoofer does not make sound. To solve the problem, follow the below steps: 1. Adjust volume level of the main unit to minimum. -- ”VOL MIN” appears on the display window. Press and hold (Mute) on the remote control for about 3 seconds. -- “WL RESET” appears on the display window briefly and Red LED on the main unit is blinking 3. If the LED of the wireless subwoofer already blinks in yellow-green continually, you can skip this step. Press and hold PAIRING on the back of the wireless subwoofer for more than 5 seconds. The LED of the wireless subwoofer lights up alternately in red and yellow-green. Disconnect the power cord of the main unit and the wireless subwoofer. 5. Connect them again after the LED of the main unit and the wireless subwoofer is fully turned off. The main unit and the wireless subwoofer will be paired automatically when you turn on the main unit. -- When the connection is completed, you can see the yellow-green LED on the subwoofer.

We regret the inconvenience you have experienced with these items. Be certain that the higher quality HDMI cable with Ethernet capabilities is connected from the HDMI1 port of the TV to the HDMI OUT port on the Audio System. Does the HDMI Output from the Sound Bar provide BOTH Picture and Sound to the HDMI Tv or only Picture? The HDMI Cable would go from the Output of the Sound Bar to the Input of the Tv correct?

Asked by: Tigerman 2015
HDMI ports and HDMI cables carry both uncompressed Digital Audio and full HD video. The LG 2.1ch 220W Sound Bar with Wireless Subwoofer, Model # LAS450H is an Audio device so it does not send out video at all. The HDMI output on the unit is the HDMI ARC port. Connecting this unit to a TV that supports HDMI CEC and ARC (Audio Return Channel), allows you to enjoy the TV audio through the speakers of this unit without connecting the optical cable and you would need to refer to your TV user manual when you check HDMI CEC/ARC function of your TV. As long as both devices are equipped with ARC, simply connecting the component to the TV’s ARC HDMI port will allow for control of power, volume, and other features from your TV remote. In most cases, it will also simply transfer your TV audio to the unit automatically, without having to deactivate the TV’s on-board speakers. ARC also allows sending signals both “upstream” and “downstream” over a single connection, meaning signals can travel in and out of a device over a single ARC HDMI port and cable. “Downstream” refers to signal that is being passed from the source, like a Blu-ray player, “down” to another device. “Upstream” would then mean sending signal the opposite way over the same cable...^IFV

Please explain how to connect my android phone which has music flow to my LAS450H sound bar. Instruction leaflet is not clear. Thanks.

Asked by: Kevin W
Just to clarify where in this process you are, if what you mean by "my android phone which has music flow..." is that you have installed either the Music Flow Bluetooth App, or the Music Flow Player App. If you installed the Music Flow Bluetooth App, when you first open if, you will guided through an initial setup. After you have read and accepted the Terms of Use, you will also have to read and accept the Google Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy since the both the Music Flow Speakers and the App support Google Cast. If your LG 2.1ch 220W Sound Bar with Wireless Subwoofer, Model # LAS450H is already paired with your phone, or if you want to explore the app before connecting to your phone, you can click 'SKIP'. To set up a new speaker, choose 'START'. If Bluetooth is not enabled on your phone, Tap 'YES' after you are prompted to allow it to be enabled then once enabled, tap 'START' to continue. You should see the speaker on a list of available Bluetooth devices. If you don't see it, make sure the speaker is on then press the Bluetooth button on the speaker and then tap on the speaker from the list to connect. The device will confirm the pairing, tap 'PAIR' to continue. If pairing is successful, you should see 'CONNECTED' under the speaker name, tap 'NEXT' to continue. The next step is 'MUSIC CURATION' where the unit learns about your preferences so it can suggest appropriate content later. Tap 'START' to begin, choose at least three genres you enjoy from the provided list. Select today's mood which will help the app suggest music based on how you feel. Tap next to continue then tap 'Finish' to complete Music Curation...^IFV
