Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sounds nice - problem with UB8200- blocks remote I bought this to enhance the sound of my 55ub8200 -4K (great picture). 10 minute install but when placed in front of the 8200 it blocks the remote signal. I'm going to need to find some way to lift the tv by about 2 inches. Sound is now much better. I guess that the TV sound was missing some good bass

(made by another company) I searched for a high quality but affordable replacement and found this one. I listened to it at the store and brought it home. I highly reccommend for value and sound quality. I especially like the easy to use and very intuitive remote control. To be honest, the sound is not quite as great as the expensive previece one that I had for for the money...you cant do better. I am very happy with thi sound bar.

It was so simple to put together. I use it all the time. I keep the volume down on my TV. I like when I turn on my TV, it automatically comes on.

I forgot how to connerct sound bar to my tv

We appreciate your interest in this Sound Bar System. This model is designed to connect to a television using an OPTICAL Digital Audio Cable. Once connected, check the TV AUDIO settings to determine what setting will output the sound to the speaker system.

Hi after moving house my nb2540 soundbar isn't working, I suspect the optical audio cable is the problem as power is OK etc, can I buy a new cable?

I've had the same problem myself and the easiest solution would be to  stop on your way home from work at Radio Shack.

The remote for this product used to control my tv as well as the sound bar but has since stopped working. Is there a way to reprogram it so it will control the tv again?

Thanks for asking, however the remote was not designed for reprogramming. Therefore it would be in your best interest to come see us for an upgrade.

I have LG NB2540 sound bar connected to LG 42PN4500 Plasma tv. Everything was working fine till last Sunday, on Monday when I tried to operate TV using sound bar remote it is not working anymore. Though the sound bar remote is working fine on sound bar.

This soundbar never seemed quite right...but especially with the remote that came with it. Now, it won't respond to the remote at all...yes, I changed the batteries. Does anyone know how to reprogram the remote?

As such, if the remote control does not operate, and the batteries are not the cause, then the remote control may need to be replaced, or the system may require service.
