Booked service appointment with iPad and of course none of the reservation information showed up in the site generated form. No confirmation email from LG. Streaming music / pictures / movies to o their rooms no disc to damage. Supports HDMI ARC with my sharp tvs. MP4 and MKV files direct from my central NAS (LG and QNPAP) flawless wireless streams. Bluetooth range fair. Quality sound for med space rooms. Worth every penny. Good built in smart apps. DNLA is effortless. Could be a little faster. Optical audio support for TV with no HDMI ARC. Would have liked to have HDMI in options. Full remote functions, but would be nicer with Bluetooth remote support, have the option of phone apps though to control. Auto power off support. Rated 3 out of 5 by Does't work well with othere equipment! This sound bar looks good and easy set up! but does not rock the house. It works great with the LG TV but did not with Dish Network equipment. So will I'm watching TV and those annoying loud commercials come on I have to use the the sound bar remote for the volume because it doesn't work with the Dish remote. I hate using 2 or more remotes. Why call it Smart? January 30, 2014

How do you change the sound effects

manual does not show how to change the sound effect from natural to a different sound mode.
Also had to put the subwoofer to 100% to hear it.

You can select a sound mode that suits you and the contents you are playing. Press SOUND EFFECT repeatedly until the desired mode appears on the front panel display or the TV screen

Answer: 
For basic operations of the Sound Bar, it will not be necessary for the device to be connected to any network connection. However, if you wish to utilize the online features, this device can operate using WIRED or WIRELESS network communications. Page 19 of the owner’s manual discusses wireless network connections, while page 9 clearly shows a standard LAN port on the back of this device.

We appreciate your interest in this Sound Bar system. The SUBWOOFER does not rely on the TV for its operations. The Bluetooth communication will be between the SUBWOOFER and the SOUND BAR itself.
