Be certain that only one audio connection (HDMI/ARC) cable is connected and that the TV’s Audio Out setting is configured for the ARC output. It may be suggested to utilize the OPTICAL port, instead of the ARC, if adjustments to the audio configuration is undesirable. With this connection, the INTERNAL SPEAKERS+OPTICAL setting can be set, and the external sound can activate automatically.
