Rated 4 out of 5 by from Happy with it for the most part. Sound is great. It’s very good for normal tv viewing and superb for movie viewing. Subwoofer paring is simple. Easy to mount. Here’s the only real disappointment…the Bluetooth range is awful. You can't be more than a few feet away before it starts braking up the signal. It's actually the worst Bluetooth product I've ever used. I have a portable Bluetooth speaker from another manufacturer and it works wonderfully from over 50’ away. You’re are LUCKY if you can get 5 feet from the soundbar. Another small disappointment is connecting to the tv. I have an LG tv and I thought they would seamlessly work together but that did not happen. I am not sure if it's the tv or the soundbar making it challenging so I can’t take anything away from my soundbar rating. When you get them working together the sound is fantastic. If Bluetooth is important to you DO NOT buy this soundbar. If you are using it solely for tv/movie viewing it’s great.

I can watch Hulu, Netflix, HBO and a ton of other networks just from my soundbar.. and the price is a bargan! The only thing I wish it had was Amazonprime but really I have no complaints

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good Soundbar This is a good soundbar with great sound for movies and video games. The bass can get extremely loud as well with good clarity. The surround sound quality is pretty solid too. However I have sent mine in to get fixed before for issues. Every now and again, the sound goes away and every voice sounds like they were sucking on helium. It has happened less since being sent in to LG, but it still occurs. If you are looking for a soundbar, I would recommend not going with this one and looking for a newer model.

Even though I had a problem with it after two years of trouble free use, I called customer service repaired my unit for free even after the warranty had expired. LG stands by their products.....Life's Good

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good sound with a nice subwoofer I have had this for over a year and have been pretty happy with this soundbar. It has good sound with a nice kick from the subwoofer. The only problem I have had is when changing outputs sometimes I will have to change back to the soundbar because of no sound. I have it paired with a LG 65UB9500 4k tv and the remote for the tv works and the sound is nice and balanced, the highs are very clear and the subwoofer has a decent amount of bass. Overall I am pleased with my purchase.

Regular tv is also upgraded. With bluetooth, streaming music from my devices is awsome!!!!. If you dont want to spend a ton of money on popular name brand sound bars this is the sound bar for you!!!! Great sound bar for the price. Dont wait. Get one, youll be glad you did.

Setup was very easy especially the connection to the wireless sub-woofer which was completely seamless. The sound went beyond my expectations. I would recommend this product to anyone that wants surround sound at a reasonable price. The sound is equivalent to systems costing hundreds of dollars more.

I have the LG NB3740 sound bar. I have it connected to my LG Smart TV using an  HDMI (ARC) cable. When the sound bar comes on, it goes to Home or Optical not ARC. What do I need to do?

We regret the inconvenience you have experienced with this Sound Bar. Be certain that only one audio connection (HDMI/ARC) cable is connected and that the TV’s Audio Out setting is configured for the ARC output. It may be suggested to utilize the OPTICAL port, instead of the ARC, if adjustments to the audio configuration is undesirable. With this connection, the INTERNAL SPEAKERS+OPTICAL setting can be set, and the external sound can activate automatically. Im trying to connect the sound bar to my tv, but the tv doesnt have an optical how I can get sound working?

We appreciate your interest in this Sound Bar System. This model is designed to connect to a television using either the OPTICAL Digital Audio jack or the HDMI / ARC jack. The compatibility of this alternate connection will depend upon the design of the TV.

My LG soundbar used to work fine with no problem. Then recently the subwoofer started cutting in and out. And now I can't get them to pair. The subwoofer just has an orange/red light on it now. HELP!
