Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice size clear color! I have had this monitor for a few months the only issue I have is every once in awhile it will blink in and out for a second

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Adapter fail. I purchased this monitor with my new intel i7 NUC, which only features a DisplayPort in. As this monitor only has HDMI out, I had to buy an adapter however due to this, I can only reach a 1980x1080 resolution. The native resolution of 2580x1080 will only work in safe mode. There are multiple forums where people refer to this issue.

Are there any drivers for an iMac (21.5-inch, Mid 2011) The best picture I can get is 1080i

The ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 25” Class 21:9 UltraWide® IPS Monitor (25.0" Diagonal), Model # 25UM65-P is a Plug-and-Play monitor, meaning drivers are not required. Plug-and-Play is a standard that has been set for communication between devices. Modern operating systems (Windows, Mac OS, etc.), are able to recognize these devices, and use "generic" drivers to control them. These generic drivers provide full functionality to the devices they serve...^IFV

Is the display supposed to go all the way to the edge of the glass?

I purchased the 25UM65-P monitor and the screen does not go all the way to the edge of the glass. There is a 3/8" black strip on all sides. Maybe on the bottom right above the plastic area, it is only 1/4". When the monitor is off you also can see where the LCD area behind the glass ends which matches the dimensions above. If you measure the monitor diagonally, it is 25" viewing screen area with the black strips. So again, based on the pictures the screen should go all the way to the edges except from the bottom? Did I get a defective one or this is how they are designed and the marketing pictures are tweaked?
Asked by: sbk1
We appreciate your interest in this monitor. This display is designed with a 25” diagonal viewing area. The images listed on our website do show a dark area around the edges of the screen which appears to cover the space you have mentioned. It may be that, due to the size of the device in the pictures, the picture appears closer to the edge than it actually is.
