What people are saying

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great USB-C 4K monitor I purchased this as my Mac Pro 15 just has USB-C ports. Even my Windows Lenovo Yoga 720 has just the USB-C port for connecting into an external monitor. I like the one cable connection to this monitor without the need for any adaptors. Love the fact that it has a USB Hub but it appears to be USB 2.0 rather than USB 3.0 as the speeds maintained are lower. The On Screen controls work well and are responsive enough. The speakers on the monitor are are not very good though. But do the job.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Monitor. I received the monitor like 2 weeks ago for my Mac Mini 2018 and it works really great! I'll like to buy a second one to replace the old Samsung TV/Monitor I have now like second screen. The only issues for me will be the sound quality as the Samsung's is much better and the stand as the curve shape takes some useful space in my desk.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great monitor for MacBook Pro I bought this monitor to replace an older ASUS my grandson had designs on. I selected it because it uses a single USB-C connection to supply both the MacBook’s video and power requirements. The 65W power supply charges MacBook quickly, and the video is excellent. With my settings, the power supply is turned off when the monitor is turned off; it does charge the computer when asleep. The supplied cables are high quality.

Is LG Joel appropriately recognized by his manager as being a really diligent support person? I'm quite impressed at the specificity of responses to Qs... Since that wasn't one: How to best compare 27UK850-W with 27ud88-W and 28mu88-W?

The compliment is greatly appreciated and the most rewarding aspect of the recognition is your acknowledgment and that you have taken the time to express it. The whole purpose is to provide you and our clients with the best responses possible and your post serves as feedback that lets us know that we are on the right track. Thank you! The LG 27" Class 4K UHD IPS LED Monitor with HDR 10 (27" Diagonal), Model # 27UD850-W, the LG 27" Class 4K UHD IPS LED Monitor (27" Diagonal), Model # 27UD88-W and the LG 27” class (27” diagonal) Ultra HD 4K Monitor, Model # 27MU88-W have very similar specifications and features with few differences. Other differences are that the 27UK850-W and the 27MU88-W have a matte screen that has an Anti-Glare 3H Surface Treatment while the 27UD88-W does not. The 27UK850-W and the 27MU88-W are VESA compliant monitors and both have the same A x B VESA Wall Mount Interface pattern of 100 x 100mm, the 27UD88-W is not wall mountable. The DisplayPort and USB Type-C™ ports on the LG 27" Class 4K UHD IPS LED Monitor with HDR 10 (27" Diagonal), Model # 27UK850-W are independent of one another so you can use them simultaneously.
