Best 2k monitor
Really good colors especially the blacks. Good looks. Height adjustment is great. Only 1 bad thing about owning this so far it overheated and ruined the picture once when I had it on at 100 brightness one time. My only complaint is that I wish it was 244hz.

Can this be adapted to use with a MacBook Air ?
Please pardon us, but we are not clear on your inquiry about adapting the LG 32'' UltraGear QHD Nano IPS 1ms 165Hz HDR Monitor with G-SYNC® Compatibility, Model # 32GP850-B with a MacBook Air, and we will need some clarification. The monitor has a native refresh rate of 165Hz and a native resolution of 2560 x 1440. Connectivity for the monitor includes 2 x HDMI inputs, a DisplayPort input, an Up-Stream USB port, 2 x Down-Stream USB ports, and a 3.5 mm Headphone output. The monitor supports a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1440 @ 60/75/100/120/144Hz over HDMI and DisplayPort and it supports a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1440 @ 165Hz over DisplayPort only and it can be overclocked to 2560 x1440@ 180Hzover DisplayPort only. The monitor supports Plug and Play which is a feature that allows you to add a device to your computer without having to reconfigure anything or install any manual drivers. You will need to check the specifications for your MacBook Air to see if the graphics card in it supports the monitor's native resolution and its native refresh rates and you will need to check its connectivity to determine if you can make direct connections from the ports on it to those on the monitor or if you will need conversion cables or adapters to make the necessary connections...^Ivan

If you have external speakers connected to the 3.5 mm Headphone Out port on the LG 27'' UltraGear QHD Nano IPS 1ms 165Hz HDR Monitor with G-SYNC Compatibility, Model # 27GP83B-B, make sure that you access the audio settings in the PC/Laptop that is connected to the monitor to select the monitor as the device that you want to output the audio to and you can set the volume at 50 on your PC/Laptop, then you can push the joystick button on the monitor to the left/right to adjust the volume to your liking...^IVan

It has a native refresh rate of 165Hz and a native resolution of 2560 x 1440. It supports 8-bit and 10-bit color. It will downscale 3840 x 2160 @ 60 Hz to its native resolution of 2560 x 1440 @ 60Hz over HDMI and it natively supports 2560 x 1440 @ 144Hz over HDMI and it also supports 2560 x 1440 @ 75Hz over HDMI 1.4 only, and 2560 x 1440 @ 120Hz over HDMI, 1920 x 1080 @ 60Hz over HDMI.
