Disappointed
I bought this 4 weeks ago. If I had known just this much time later a 49" one would be released that is in all ways except response time better and $400 cheaper I would not have purchased this. I'm betting 1ms response time on the new one couldn't possibly bother me. Now I'm totally regretting this purchase and feeling like I wasted a ton of money.

The best ultrawide monitor on the market, no doubt
A lot of folks seem to misunderstand this monitor because of it's lower PPI. What they don't get is that you don't have to sit with your nose next to the monitor, PPI is all about the relationship on how close you sit to the monitor.
This monitor has raised the bar for what I consider to be a good monitor. The HDR on this unit is absolutely amazing, you can have a video of a streetlamp at night and there's no blooming of any sort because of the per pixel dimming, and the night sky next to the lamp is perfectly pitch black.
The response times on this monitor are incredible. One of the games I play - Dragon Age : Inquistion, on older monitors when I opened a door it looked blurry. On this beautiful monitor from LG, the motion clarity is so perfect that the animation of opening a door isn't blurry anymore - actually, you can tell that it's rendered at a lower framerate than the rest of the game. It blew my mind when I saw that for the first time.

A+ for gaming and C for engineering productivity
I currently roll with a LG 40WP95C-W as my main with a ppi of 140-it is awesome for productivity as an engineer. I’m currently testing LG’s 45GR95QE-B OLED as a second monitor with a ppi of 80. It is an awesome gaming monitor but not suitable for coding, reverse engineering, running Windows [CMD] or Linux commands on the fly. I’m torn if I should keep the OLED monitor and use it exclusively for gaming. It is an expensive monitor but I'm 85% confident I will keep the OLED for gaming--esp. since Diablo 4 is coming out…

The LG 45'' UltraGear™ OLED Curved Gaming Monitor WQHD with 240Hz Refresh Rate .03ms Response Time, Model # 45GR95QE-B covers 98.5% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. DCI-P3 offers a greater range of colors at a more saturated and vibrant level, and it can use up to 10-bit color as compared to sRGB's 8-bit, allowing users to enjoy HDR content in even more colors. Unless your videos are only meant for viewing on websites, DCI-P3 should be your go-to for video editing. If you're editing using the DCI-P3 colorspace, you'll be able to create media that can fully exploit the entire range of DCI-P3's colors, and with more accuracy...^Ivan

What is the DPI on this monitor? Looks utterly fantastic btw, I'll be coming from 2x 27" Odyssey G7 so the curve ratio is perfect too.
Did you mean PPI? PPI and DPI are two important terms that both define the resolution, or clarity, of an image but each refers to separate media—that is, digital versus print. PPI and DPI are often used interchangeably when they shouldn’t be. PPI describes the resolution in pixels of a digital image whereas DPI describes the amount of ink dots on a printed image. Though PPI largely refers to the screen display, it also affects the print size of your design and thus the quality of the output. DPI, on the other hand, has nothing to do with anything digital and primarily concerns print.
