Food in the back of our refrigerator is becoming frozen. It is very irritating when you go to cook something and find out it is frozen.
We regret the trouble you have experienced with this refrigerator. The description suggests that the items may be sitting too close to the ventilation bringing cool air into the refrigerator compartment. If correcting this matter does not resolve the situation, then the unit may require service. To make service arrangements, you may either contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000, or you can check our Repair Provider Lookup on our website, at http://www.lg.com/us/support/repair/support-repair-provider-lookup.jsp.

energy efficiency rating
What is the energy efficiency of refrigerator # LFC24770SB? I recently purchased the item from Lowe's and one of the primary reasons I did so was because the US energy efficiency rating that I found published on various websites (Lowes, Home Depot, AJ Madison, etc) was 471kw/annually or approximately $50/year. However, when I received the refrigerator, the yellow sticker included on the appliance listed the energy efficiency as 606kw/annually or approx. $76/year. That is a very big difference and I would like to know which energy rating is correct. (I could not find any such information on the LG website.)
Wildwood, the Energyguide label for the LG Ultra Capacity 3 Door French Door Refrigerator, Model # LFC24770SB can be found in the "Support" section on the LG site. On the main page for that unit, if you click on the "Product Support" tab, that will open up the support page where you can scroll down to "Manuals and Documents" box wherein is a link labeled ENERGY GUIDE. What Estimated Yearly Cost of $50 and Estimated Yearly Electrical Use of 471 kWh is the correct label and if you read the small print that shows which units the label is for, you will see it is for models LFC24786**,& LFC24770**. Check the label that has the higher yearly Cost and yearly electrical use and see if the model listed on that label is for your refrigerator, it might have just been inadvertently stuck on that unit...^IFV
