    1.Download and Install LG Pay

    NOTE: LG Pay comes preloaded on any supported LG phones. If you don’t have it, please follow the step-by-step guide in installing LG Pay.

    Navigate to and select Play Store on your phone.

    Select the Search bar.

    Enter LG Pay and then select Search.

    Select INSTALL.
    If you can't find LG Pay from the Play Store, your device is not compatible.

    Select OPEN.

    2.Setup LG Pay

    Select LG Pay.

    Select GET STARTED.

    Sign in with Google/another account.

    Enter your user information such as name, shipping address and press NEXT.

    Ready to use, then proceed.

    Enter LG Pay PIN

    Set Fingerprints.

    To add a card, select loyalty cards or credit/debit cards.

    Align your card to fit inside the frame. To enter your card information manually, select enter card manually.

    Enter the card information, then select NEXT.

    Review the TERMS OF SERVICE, and then select AGREE.

    Select an option to verify the card. For this example, select SMS.

    Enter the verification code, and then select VERIFY.

    Select DONE.
    If you do not want to add the card as a LG PayQuick card, uncheck Add to LG PayQuick.

    3.View Supported Issuers

    Select LG Pay.

    Select overflow menu from the top right corner of the screen.

    Select Support.

    Select Supported issuers.

    Swipe up to view supported card issuers.

    4.Make a Payment

    NOTE:

    Making a payment using your phone with a phone case can sometimes cause issues. If so, remove the phone case before tapping your phone on the terminal.

    Place the back of the phone over the Magstripe / Swipe reader with at least ½ inch of space between the phone and the reader, or tap the back of the phone on top of the contactless card reader with the symbol. contactless

    Depending on your settings, you can access LG PayQuick from the Lock or Home screen, or when the screen is off.

    To activate the LG PayQuick Card (the card you want to use for payments), swipe up from the bottom of the screen.

    To access LG Pay, select PIN or Fingerprint.
    Swipe left or right to select another Card in LG PayQuick mode. Options for Gift , Loyalty cards are also available.

    Place the back of the phone against the Magentic card/NFC reader.

    To extend contact time on the reader, select the extension icon '+20 sec' ..

    5.View Recent Transactions

    NOTE:

    Transactions made with LG Pay are available to view . A push notification with transaction details will be sent to your phone after each purchase.

    Select LG Pay.

    Select the card that you want to see its transactions on your card list.

    To view recent transactions of a payment list, select the desired payment option.

    To view more recent transactions, swipe up from the bottom of the screen.

    The Transactions Panel will display your recent transactions.

    6.Profile Information

    NOTE: Change your profile information to make any corrections or updates to your account.

    Select LG Pay.

    Select overflow menu from the top right corner of the screen.

    Select Settings.

    Select My account.

    Select and change desired information such as Name, Shipping address.

    Select SAVE.

    1.Add Credit/Debit Card

    Select LG Pay.

    Select '+' on the top right corner of the screen.

    Align your card to fit inside the frame.
    To enter your card information manually, select MANUAL.

    Enter your card information, and then select NEXT.

    Enter your information manually, and then select NEXT.

    Read the Terms of Service for the card issuer, and then select AGREE.

    Select an option to verify the card. For this example, select E-mail, SMS.

    Enter the verification code that you received, and then select VERIFY.

    Select DONE.
    If you do not want to add the card as a LG PayQuick card, deselect Add to LG PayQuick.

    2.Remove Credit/Debit Card

    Select LG Pay.

    Select Credit/Debit tab.

    Select overflow menu from the top right corner of the screen.

    Select Remove off the overflow menu.

    Select the card you want to remove.

    Select REMOVE.

    3.Set up LG PayQuick

    Note: You can select which screen LG PayQuick will display when you swipe up from the bottom of any of the selected screens to pay.

    Select LG Pay.

    Select overflow menu from the top right corner of the screen.

    Select Settings.

    Select LG PayQuick.

    Select which screen LG PayQuick Cards will disaplay.
    For this example, select the slider next to 'When screen is off', to turn on/turn off the screen.

    4.Add or Change LG PayQuick Cards

    Unchecking LG PayQuick Card does not delete it from LG Pay. ==> Add LG PayQuick

    Select LG Pay.

    Select overflow menu from the top right corner of the screen.

    Select Settings.

    Select Add to LG PayQuick.

    To deselect a card from LG PayQuick cards, Uncheck a card from LG PayQuick.

    To add a card into LG PayQuick Cards, check the desired card.

    5.Use Fingerprints

    Select LG Pay.

    Select overflow menu from the top right corner of the screen.

    Select Settings.

    Select Use fingerprints.

    1.Save a Gift Card

    Select LG Pay.

    Select Gift Cards tab.

    Select '+' on the top right corner of the screen.

    Select Save gift card.

    Select the desired gift card.

    Enter the Card number, PIN and then select SAVE.

    2.Use a Gift Card

    Gift cards can only be purchased from one of listed the gift card merchants, and it can be purchased securely using credit or debit cards already added to LG Pay

    To activate the LG PayQuick to use a Gift card, swipe up from the bottom of the screen.

    Swipe left or right to select Gift Card you want to use in LG PayQuick mode.

    Enter your PIN or Fingerprint.

    You can use the displayed card number or Scan barcode with scanner to redeem the gift card.

    3.Buy a Gift Card

    Gift cards can only be purchased from one of listed the gift card merchants, and it can be purchased securely using credit or debit cards already added to LG Pay.

    Select LG Pay.

    Select Gift cards tab.

    Select '+' on the top right corner of the screen.

    Select purchase gift cards.

    Select the desired gift card.

    Select and enter an amount.
    The minimum and maximum amounts will vary depending on the gift card.

    Select For myself.

    Select NEXT, and Enter your LG Pay PIN or Fingerprint.
    You can purchase desired gift card with the credit/debit card you added to your account.

    Select DONE.

    4.Send a Gift Card to a Friend

    You can purchase a gift card directly from LG Pay and send it to your friends. If they are using LG Pay, the gift card will be automatically added to their LG Pay.

    Select LG Pay.

    Select Gift cards tab.

    Select '+' on the top right corner of the screen.

    Select Purchase gift cards.

    Select the desired gift card.

    Select and enter an amount.
    The minimum and maximum amounts will vary depending on the gift card.

    Select For someone else.

    Enter the Recipient's information. Enter a message to accompany the gift card, as well as the name sending the gift card, and then select NEXT.

    Agree to the purchase information and select BUY.

    Enter your LG Pay PIN or Fingerprint.
    You can be purchased desired gift card via LG pay added credit/debit card.

    Select DONE.

    5. Remove a Gift Card

    You are limited to five balance inquiries per card.

    Select LG Pay.

    Select Gift cards tab

    Select overflow menu from the top right corner of the screen.

    Select Remove off the overflow menu.

    Select the card you want to remove.

    Select REMOVE.

    6.Add a Loyalty Card

    Select LG Pay.

    Select Loyalty tab.

    Select '+' on the top right corner of the screen.

    Swipe to and select the desired Loyalty card.

    Select Scan the barcode icon, or enter card info manually.

    Enter the card name, number, and then select SAVE.

    7.Remove a Loyalty Card

    Select LG Pay.

    Select Loyalty tab.

    Select overflow menu from the top right corner of the screen.

    Select Remove off the overflow menu.

    Select the card you want to remove.

    Select REMOVE.

    Select overflow menu from the top right corner of the screen.

    Select Promotion off the overflow menu.

    Enter your personal information such as Name, Billing address, then Select NEXT.

    Enter the purchase information such as IMEI, Receipt and Retailer, then Select SUBMIT.

    2.Promotion Participation History

    Select LG Pay.

    Select overflow menu from the top right corner of the screen.

    Select Settings off the overflow menu.

    Select the promotion you participated in.

    Select the clock on the top.

    3.Pay with Perks Card

    To activate LG Perk Cards via LG PayQuick, swipe up from the bottom of the screen.
    NOTE: Depending on your settings, you can access LG PayQuick from the Lock or Home screen, or when the screen is off.

    Swipe left or right to select Perks Card you want to use in LG PayQuick mode.

    Enter your PIN or Fingerprint.

    Place the back of the phone over the Magentic card/NFC reader.

    1.Manage Notifications

    NOTE: You can turn off notifications related to your app updates, urgent notice and revised legal documents, and gift cards. You can also choose to receive events, special offers, and purchase notifications.

    Select LG Pay.

    Select overflow menu from the top right corner of the screen.

    Select Settings.

    Select Notices & alerts.

    Select your desired notifications to turn on or turn off Notices/Marketing alerts/Purchases notification.

    2.Delete LG Pay

    NOTE: Deleting LG Pay will remove all of your LG Pay information from your phone.

    Select Settings on the Home screen.

    Select General tab.

    Select Apps.

    Select LG Pay.

    Select Uninstall.

    3.Update LG Pay

    NOTE: Keep LG Pay up to date to access the latest features and security enhancements.

    Select LG Pay.

    Select overflow menu from the top right corner of the screen.

    6.Manage LG Pay Permissions

    Select Settings on the Home screen.

    7.Turn Fingerprint Security On or Off

    NOTE: By enabling Fingerprint Security, you can quickly authenticate your card when you make a payments.

    Select LG Pay.

    Select Use Fingerprints.

    Enter your LG Pay wallet PIN.

    Verify your fingerprints to use them with LG Pay.

    To turn off Fingerprint, select the slider next to Use Fingerprints.

    8.Change LG Pay PIN

    Select LG Pay.

    Select overflow menu from the top right corner of the screen.

    Select Settings.

    Select Change App PIN.

    Enter your LG Pay PIN.

    Enter your new LG Pay PIN.

    Confirm your new LG Pay PIN.

    General FAQs

    • LG Pay® is a secure and easy-to-use mobile payment service.

      You can pay in-store with LG Pay at nearly every retailer in the United States.

      Additional LG Pay features allow users to buy gift cards in-app, store loyalty cards and qualify for a cash-back incentive LG Pay Perks card.

      For an even more convenient payment experience, users can access LG Pay Quick™ mode anytime by simply swiping the phone screen.

    • Yes, the LG Pay app is free to download and use. It may incur additional data charges from your network provider since it requires a network connection.

    • LG Pay offers the following features:

      • Store your physical cards (credit/debit/gift/loyalty) for easy handling and convenience

      • Pay using LG Pay in-store without taking your physical cards from your wallet

      • Continue to earn and redeem points with your favorite store-branded loyalty cards stored in the LG Pay app.

      • Earn cash rewards with LG Pay Perks Card with qualifying purchases, or similar.

      • Buy popular gift cards within the LG Pay app for yourself or send to a friend.

      • Switch a gift card (purchased and sent via the LG Pay app) to other branded gift card.

    • LG Pay replaces your physical card with a digital experience on your phone. The app also provides the additional benefits of managing and storing multiple payments, gift and loyalty cards, all in one handy place. It is a more convenient way to pay versus traditional physical cards.

    • Residency does not affect what cards can be used in the U.S. as long as the card is valid to be used in United States.

    • LG Pay Quick allows the user to pay more conveniently. User can access LG Pay Quick by swiping up from the bottom edge of the screen or swiping left from the right edge of the screen even when other applications are open or while the screen off.

    • You will get the email notification when you

      Additionally, when there are service changes such as Terms and Condition updates, promotions and new features, you may receive an appropriate email notice.

    • If you want to delete all your information within LG Pay, we recommend you remove your LG Account via the path "Settings" --> "Account & sync" --> "LG Account" --> select your LG Account --> "Remove account" from the top-right sub-menu.

    Setup

    • LG Pay is downloadable from the Google Play Store. Google account registration is required to download from Google Play Store.

    • Anyone over 13 years of age with a compatible mobile device (http://www.lg.com/us/support/lgpay) can use the LG Pay service.

    • The account creation guide is provided in the LG Pay initial service registration step at (http://www.lg.com/us/support/lgpay) for setting up new accounts. During the process, you will be able to know if you already have an existing account or need to create a new one. This also allows you to retrieve your forgotten information if you already have an existing account. There's no need to create a new account if you already have other LG mobile services accounts like LG Health, LG Smartworld, Air Drive, Quick Help and Smart ThinQ.

      Please note that http://www.lg.com is using a different account system which is not compatible with the LG Pay service.

    • You can unregister from LG Pay within the app by following the path below:

      "Overflow menu" (top right) --> "Settings" > "About LG Pay" > "Terminate service."

      Please be reminded that all the registered card will be deleted when you unregister with LG Pay. It also recommended taking a note of your Gift card number, PIN and remaining balance before you unregister LG Pay with an existing Gift Card.

    • You can delete the LG Pay app via the Google Play Store or from your device's application manager.

      If the LG Pay icon was pre-loaded on your device, the app cannot be deleted per the carrier restrictions.

      After deleting and you want to use the LG Pay app again, you will need to re-enter the LG Account service subscription with LG Pay. Since the existing credit/ debit card information is removed, you need to re-register the card information to use the payment service.

    • You can manually input the information to register your card. Tap "+" -> "ENTER MANUALLY" to begin.

      If you re-install the LG Pay app, you will need to register all of your credit/debit cards again. The LG Pay Perks card, Gift Cards and Loyalty cards are stored to your LG Account and will be recovered when re-installed. Just sign in with the same LG Account that you used previously.

    • When you sign out of LG Pay, security sensitive data--i.e. payment card related data is removed. You will need to register credit/debit cards again.

      If you can't see any cards including any loyalty cards, gift cards or LG Pay Perks cards you've previously registered, make sure that you have correctly signed in with the same ID you have used before.

    Device

    • LG Pay is supported on the LG G8X, LG G8 ThinQ device and the LG V50 ThinQ 5G device. Other existing LG Pay devices will be supported as well very soon.

    • Yes, you can use LG Pay with multiple devices and your Loyalty/Gift/Perks cards will be automatically synchronized.

      You need to re-register the credit/debit card information to use the payment service.

    • Yes, it's possible, but the total number of devices on which you can register your card varies based on your bank's policy. If you want to know the limitation or have any problem regarding using multiple devices, please contact your bank's customer service center.

    Network

    • A mobile network connection--either cellular data or Wi-Fi--is required for service registration, adding cards, viewing recent transaction history, checking gift card balances and buying/sending gift cards. However, once a card is successfully stored in the app, you can use it to pay in-store via the LG Pay app, even when your phone is offline.

    • No, if your compatible device has a wireless connection--either mobile data or Wi-Fi--you can use LG Pay on the device, regardless of carrier. However, how to install/find the LG Pay app on your phone might differ by carrier. Note: When you pay with LG Pay in-store, no wireless connection is required.

    • Yes, SIM card support is not mandatory to use the service. Some features such as service registration and adding a card do require you to have a wireless data connection, though.

    • You will need to sign in with the same LG Account, and you can find the previously registered information for loyalty, gift and LG Pay Perks cards. But you will need to re-register to add your credit and debit cards, for security reasons.

    Technology

    • NFC stands for “Near-Field Communication.” As the name implies, it enables short-range communication between compatible devices, in this case, a mobile device and a point-of-sale terminal.

      LG Pay uses NFC to transmit the payment data when the phone is placed over an NFC-enabled payment terminal.

    • The registered payment card information is stored and managed by the card issuer's server.

      Payment card information is not being stored in the LG Pay app except for the last 4 digits of the card.

      Only encrypted, tokenized data is stored in an LG Pay server: Tokenization replaces your sensitive payment card information (i.e. account number, expiry date, and CVC number) with encrypted information, ensuring multiple layers of additional security.

    • It is the Wireless Magnetic Communication (WMC) that is a method of generating magnetic signals from a mobile device using to transmit card information for payments.

    Security

    • When you add your payment cards, you will be guided to confirm the use of a previously registered fingerprint or register a new one. If you previously skipped the fingerprint registration, here's how to complete it:

      Go to "Settings" (above the flow icon at the top right) --> "Use fingerprints".

      A device PIN, Password, Pattern, or Knock Code is required to register your fingerprints.

    • It's not possible to use LG Pay with a rooted device.

    • The last 4 digits printed on the receipt are your virtual account number and same number is shown in App > Card details > Information tab or PayQuick screen. The virtual account number masks your actual card number for security purposes.

    • For security reasons, LG Pay does not support the rooted device. When the rooting is detected, you will be blocked from entering the App and there will be popup notice as "LG Pay security alert, This device can't be used for LG Pay. This may be because it is rooted or customized in unauthorized way. Try later after reflashing with the authorized firmware."

    • If you failed to enter App PIN for 5 times, you would have to wait for 60 seconds to try again but neither the App will lock you out nor delete the credit/debit cards. If you failed to enter App PIN for 20 times, the credit/debit cards will be deleted.

    • Access to LG Pay is dependent on the correct entered PIN or fingerprint. The LG Pay payment service complies to payment industry security standards and use encrypted virtual account number for each payment and not the actual card number for security purposes.

      Additionally, card registration goes through multiple identity and verification (ID&V) processes by each issuer for each card.

    • To use fingerprints, open Overflow menu (top right) -> Settings > and toggle "Use fingerprints" to ON. You will have to register your fingerprints if you haven't done yet.

      You can use a registered fingerprint or App PIN code for authentication. Simply hold your finger on the fingerprint sensor or select [PIN] button from LG Pay Quick menu to enter your App PIN and proceed with the payment.

    • From within the LG Pay app, open overflow (top right) -> Settings -> Change App PIN.

    • You would need to reset the service at mylgpay.com in any device with internet connection using any browser.

    • You can remove all the payment cards registered in your device at mylgpay.com. Alternatively, you can also use Google's "Find My Device" (https://www.google.com/android/find) and lock or erase a lost android device.

    • In order for somebody else to access your LG Pay App and make purchases, they must either enter your own unique fingerprint or six digit PIN. Make sure your PIN has not been compromised.

    • You can restore LG Pay app and all registered cards except credit/debit cards after uninstalling LG Pay app, terminating the service or signing out of LG Pay for some reason. You need to re-install the LG Pay app and follow the registration process using the same account linked to the registered cards. You will need your Backup PIN that you setup from the last registration during this process.

    • All cards that are previously registered in LG Pay app are stored in your LG Pay account. However, only perks card, gift cards and loyalty cards would be able to restore after reinstalling LG Pay app and completing registration using the same LG Pay account. Credit/Debit cards need to be registered again in your LG Pay app.

    Features

    • Please ensure that you have at least one credit/debit/gift card added to LG Pay. Then, go to overflow menu (top right) > Settings > LG Pay Quick > and enable desired option under ACCESS LG Pay Quick section.

    • LG pay can be used to withdraw money at the ATM which is equipped with contactless or magstripe readers. Contact your bank directly for support.

    • Purchasing gift card(s) works differently than any other purchase. You can view your gift card transaction history by selecting the Gift Cars tab > Overflow Menu in the upper-right corner > Order History.

    Card Registration

    • You can add a total of 10 cards of Credit/ Debit/ Perks cards, 30 Gift cards and 50 Loyalty cards per device.

    • You can add credit cards, debit cards, loyalty cards, gift cards, and LG Pay Perks cards to LG Pay.

      Please refer to the list of supported issuing banks on this link (http://www.lg.com/us/support/lgpay) to find out if your card is eligible.

    • You can find the list of banks supported by LG Pay on the website (http://www.lg.com/us/support/lgpay).

      LG will continue to work on adding more issuing banks.

    • The card images may not be same depending upon the card issuer's design update. Please ensure that the card information such as card issuer (bank name), card type (Visa/Mastercard/ Amex/ Discover), and the last 4 digits of the physical card match the information shown in LG Pay.

    • Your new card will be automatically updated based on bank's policy. You can begin using the new card for payments in LG Pay. If the new card is not automatically updated or the bank is not updating, you may need to delete the old one and then add the newly issued card.

    • There should be no restriction on locations wherever you're adding your card in your LG Pay app even outside of United States. You can add Credit/Debt cards, LG Pay perks card, loyalty cards and gift cards but payment acceptance outside US depends on your bank policy. Please contact your issuing bank for information. Also, gift card purchases and card redemptions through LG Pay app are only available when you are in US.

    • You are also able to add loyalty and gift cards, but gift card purchases and card redemptions are only available in the U.S.

    • You can add all the cards, total of 10 Credit/ Debit/ Perks cards, 30 Gift cards and 50 Loyalty cards in LG Pay Quick as long as they are registered in the app but you can only view one card and use it for payment at a time except for loyalty card. Loyalty card can be viewed all the time together with any other cards.

    • You can remove your card from LG PayQuick by opening the LG Pay App and selecting the card to see "Card Details". Then, press the overflow menu on the top right corner and press "Remove from LG PayQuick".

    • There are two ways to add a card to LG Pay Quick. (1) The checkbox "Add to LG Pay Quick" is preselected and checked during the card registration after verification and it will automatically add the card to LG Pay Quick. (2) If the card is not added in LG Pay Quick yet for any reason, you can add it manually by selecting the card to see "Card Details". Then, press the overflow menu on the top right corner and press "Add to LG PayQuick".

    Payment

    • Yes, your digital card in your LG Pay app should maintain the same benefits as your bank issued physical card. Please contact your card issuer for more information.

    • LG Pay can be used in-store virtually everywhere NFC or Magstripe payments are supported. You can also use gift cards and Loyalty card where accepted.

      1. Start by simply swiping up from the bottom of the screen to initiate the LG Pay Quick or selecting the LG Pay App icon on your home screen.

      2. Use your fingerprint or App PIN code.

      3. Place the back of the phone over the contactless (NFC) or magstripe card reader of the POS terminal to complete payment.

      4. Once the transaction is completed, you can see the payment results in your mobile device alerts and transaction history screen in the App.

    • Please ensure that you position your phone over the card swiping or NFC reader of the terminal.

      For NFC you will see "Done" on LG Pay Quick screen and this means your card has been read successfully.

      For Magstripe you will see the relevant message on payment terminal screen.

      Other payment issues could be related to your card issuing banks.

    • You just need to tag your device against the payment terminal. When you have problem to tag, move your device forward to the card swiping part of the terminal after the pay mode is on. (Pay mode can be ready from PayQuick or LG Pay app launching. Both ways will ask you authenticate with your fingerprint or PIN code.). Because LG Pay is providing magnetic and NFC technology, you can tag with one of these two functional parts of the payment termnial.

    • If the taxi has a terminal or device that supports Contactless (NFC) or magstripe payment, you can use the LG Pay app the same way when you make payments at the stores.

    • Processing your return is essentially the same process as with a physical card transaction. You may be asked to scan the payment card that you used to pay. You can easily do this using LG Pay.

    • The ability to make transactions outside of the U.S. may depend upon the terms of the bank card you have enrolled with LG Pay. If an international merchant location accepts Visa/Mastercard network payments and has NFC/ Magstripe readers, then LG Pay should work fine.

    • The transaction information within LG Pay app is only reflecting recent transactions (up to 10). You may see hold or pending transactions where the merchant places a temporary charge until the full transaction is completed such as hotels, car rentals, gas, etc. You may not see the final transaction amount reflected in recent transactions. We recommend verifying transactions using your bank statements from your financial institution.

    • Merchant may not have POS terminal contactless readers and advise customers they don't support mobile payments. If they have the traditional magnetic swipe terminal, you should be able to use your LG Pay to make a purchase by placing your device near the terminal's magstripe reader.

    • When you pay with LG Pay in-store, the card that you are using is not the physical card but a "tokenized" version of your card. Please refer to the last four of the virtual account number on your phone to solve this issue. Open the card details and press the information tab to see the virtual account number.

    • Yes, you can pay with your physical cards.

    • While LG Pay is compatible with in-store Contactless NFC and Magstripe payment terminals, gift cards can be purchased online through the LG Pay App.

    • Transactions made within LG Pay are subject to the terms and conditions established by the bank and/or card issuer. If you suspect an unauthorized charge, please contact your bank.

    • Card transaction details are created and managed by your bank. Please contact your bank for more information.

    • You can check recent transactions using LG Pay. Simply open the card and press the "Transactions" tab. Note that this only displays up to 10 recent transactions made using LG Pay. We recommend verifying all transactions using bank statements from your financial institution.

    • Your merchant will confirm completion of a transaction. You can also check recent transactions from LG Pay.

    • To pay wth the LG Pay app, you need to first activate the LG PayQuick by swipping up from the bottom of the screen, or clicking the green circle button within the app, and then verify yourself with your account PIN or fingerprint.

    • Most of the gas pump card readers do not support contactless card payments including all mobile payments even they have contactless reader installed. All gas stations will start accepting mobile payments once they completed the required hardware/software upgrades and EMV certifications.

    Gift Card

    • Open the LG Pay app -> select "Gift cards" tab -> press the "+" icon -> then click the "Purchase gift cards" to begin.

      Select a merchant name from the list, then fill out the form with required information. You can choose whether to buy it for yourself or for someone else. If you purchase for someone else, you will need to enter the recipient's information. You can process the payment easily with LG Pay.

    • If the gift card sent has not been claimed yet, LG Pay CS center will resend it to your friend. If the card is not claimed within 30 days, it will be returned to you. Please contact LG Pay Customer support if you need more information.

    • You can find the all the gift card transactions history in the overflow menu of Gift cards tab & "Order history" and received cards will be automatically added to the Gift card list.

    • Some gift cards lose value after a year of inactivity. Please refer to the individual gift card merchant's terms and conditions.

    • LG Pay only offers a digital gift card, not a physical one.

    • To check the current balance, open the gift card detail screen and press the refresh icon next to the displayed balance.

      Note: The displayed balance may not reflect recent purchases. We recommend reaching out to the gift card issuer to verify.

    • Yes, it is possible. When you are ready to make a purchase, tell the store clerk that you want to split your payment. You will select each card and process according to the merchant instructions. Please be reminded that some merchants may not allow you to split your payments.

    • Yes, under the gift card section press the "+" icon and you will be able to add your existing gift card.

    • No, rejection is not supported by LG Pay, but if you don't want that card received you can switch to other preferable card. Here is the Gift card merchant list.

    • Yes, but you need to add your credit or debit card within the LG Pay app first.

    • You can view the list of gift card merchants by clicking the "+" button at the top right of the gift card main screen. For your convenience, the full gift card list can also be found here: http://www.lg.com/us/support/lgpay

    • LG Pay only provides the gift card purchase/send history that took place within the LG Pay App. The other transaction history might be available in the individual merchant app or on their website, but that depends upon merchant's service policy.

    • A total 30 gift cards can be added.

    • Yes, it is possible. When you are ready to make a purchase, tell the cashier that you want to split your payment and want to pay certain amount for the first payment request. Then, you can use any other form of payment for the remaining balance. Follow each card and process according to the merchant instructions. Please be reminded that some merchants may not allow you to split your payments.

    • When your gift card received is not automatically added you can add the card information which you can get from MMS via the path of "LG Pay App > Gift cards tab > "+" button > Save gift card.

    • Even when the registered gift card is deleted the balance will not be gone. So when you delete the card or terminate the service you need to keep a record of card number and PIN code to use later.

    • Not all gift cards are viewing the balance within LG Pay App. This limitation on viewing capability depends on gift card merchant policy. You may check the balance from gift card merchant website.

    • You can switch the received gift card to other brand before you claim it. You can use and press "SWITCH" next to the "CANCEL" and "CLAIM" only once per card. Switching gift card will not be available anymore once it has been claimed. Please refer to the merchant list to select the gift cards available for switching. http://www.lg.com/us/support/lgpay

    • You may not have any registered payment card to LG PayQuick that are accepted by the gift card providers. Please try adding a new card before purchasing gift card.

    • You can pay with your gift card at the store by opening LG Pay app. Select the gift card you want to display the barcode and scan to complete the purchase. Online purchase requires you to enter the gift card number and PIN code manually.

    • Unfortunately, once you have completed a gift card purchase, no modifications or refunds are permitted. Please check the recipient information when you purchase gift card before sending it.

    • If the gift card sent has not been claimed yet, LG Pay CS center will resend it to your friend. If the card is not claimed within 30 days, it will be returned to you. Please contact LG Pay Customer support if you need more information

    Perk Card

    • The LG Pay Perks card is a Virtual Visa Reward card that can be used in-store wherever Visa is accepted. It's a reward card issued as part of the exclusive LG Pay Perks program that allows you to earn money when you take advantage of exclusive offers through LG Pay. The more qualifying purchases you make, the more you can earn.*

      *Participation and qualification in an eligible LG Pay offer is required to obtain an LG Pay Perks card.

    • The LG Pay Perks card is a Virtual Visa Reward card that can be used in-store wherever Visa is accepted.

    • The PIN code is the last 4 digits of your card number that you can find in "Information" tab of "Card details" screen.

    • If you sign in to the LG Pay app with same LG account that you used in your old device, LG Pay Perks Card should be restored automatically. If you do not see your Perks card in your new device, please contact card issuer's customer support (LG Pay Perks > Card details > Information)

    • Please do not delete the perks card if there is a remaining balance. If this happens, please contact card issuer's customer support (LG Pay Perks > Card details > Information)

    • When your card is expired, the balance will be expired accordingly. If you qualify for another promotion, the new amount will be added in your new issued Perks card.

    • There is card expiration date in "Credit/ Debit" card list and LG Pay Perks > Card details > Information tab.

    • You can get more Perks card value by joining the LG Pay promotion chance.

    • The LG Pay Perks card value only can be added by LG Electronics. If there's additional value, the new amount will be added in the new perks card or existing perks card.

    • You can tell the merchant clerk to split the bill into 2 or more payment options. You will select each card from LG Pay app to proceed for each payment transaction upon merchant instructions.

    • You can find the balance in "Credit/Debit" card list or LG Pay Perks > Card detail

    • Either one will work. When you choose "Debit", PIN code (i.e. last 4 digits of card number) needs to be entered and for "Credit" , you will be guided to leave your signature.

    • Only Credit/Debit/Prepaid card can be used for gift card purchase.

    • There will be $3.5 fee per month after 6 months of no activity. You need to have transaction activities or new value added from another promotion to avoid fees. You can find more information about fees in LG Pay's Terms of service.

    Loyalty Card

    • You can add almost any loyalty card to the LG Pay app (up to 50) by entering or scanning the card information.

    • Select the loyalty card from LG Pay Quick or the loyalty card list in the app. Then simply present the barcode for scanning at the merchant checkout.

      1. Tap "Loyalty" on the main screen of the app and select the "+" button at the top right or center of the screen.

      2. Enter or scan the card information.

    • LG Pay doesn't verify the loyalty card number when you enter it, so be careful when adding the card info in the app. If the card number in LG Pay is different from the physical card, please correct it in the app.

      To edit card number, open the overflow menu at the top right of the app screen. You can also change the barcode type through the same menu.

    • You can add up to 50 loyalty cards in the LG Pay app and these cards can be viewed on the LG Pay Quick screen.

    • It is possible the loyalty card number or barcode was not readable by the merchant. Confirm the loyalty card number matches the original card and/or that the barcode you are displaying is supported by the merchant. To edit a card number or barcode, open the overflow menu at the top right of the screen and select the option you would like to change.

    Merchant

    • No. LG Pay works with most standard magnetic and contactless (NFC) card readers wherever Visa/Mastercard payments are accepted.

    • LG Pay is very easy to use, so typically no help will be necessary. But should customers experience an issue paying with LG Pay, simply guide them to:

      1. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to select a payment card using LG Pay Quick. Alternatively, customers can open the LG Pay app from their home screen, then select a card.

      2. Activate the payment mode with their fingerprint/App PIN code.

      3. Place the back of your mobile phone close over the magnetic strip or contactless NFC areas of the point-of-sale payment terminal. It is recommended that the back of your phone doesn't select the magnetic strip reader if you're using WMC or swipe mode during payments. Allow at least 1/2 inch space between the phone and the magstripe reader.

    • For canceling a payment made with LG Pay is the same as a Physical plastic card.

      Please let the customer select the transaction he/she would like to cancel in LG Pay transaction history screen.

      After your doing the needed things on your POS screen for cancellation, tell your customer to do just like doing for payment. And you can make the cancellation be sure by viewing the cancellation receipt.

      More detail process regarding cancellation may follow to card issuer's policy.

    • The process to cancel a transaction made with LG Pay is the same as canceling a transaction made with the physical card.

      Just follow the same steps your store requires to cancel a transaction from your point-of-sale screen, and provide them with any relevant receipts to confirm the cancellation.

    • Customers should position the back of their mobile phone over the Contactless (NFC)/ Magstripe area of the terminal.

    • Merchant fees should be the same as what associated with physical cards.
