At a Glance
Many LG Smart TVs come preloaded with the YouTube TV app. For compatible LG Smart TVs, turn on the TV and make sure it is connected to the Internet. You should see the YouTube app in the WebOS launcher bar.

Try another app.
→ Open another streaming app such as Netflix, Hulu, etc. to see if the problem is with YouTube only.

Confirm the TV's firmware is up to date.
→ Press the settings button on the TV remote and select [All Settings] → [Customer Support] → [Software Update] → [Check for Updates].

Confirm the service country is set to United States.
→ Press the settings button on the TV remote and select [All Settings] → [General] → [System] → [Location] → [LG Services Country].

Delete and reinstall the YouTube app.
How to Delete
1 Press Home on your remote control to enter the main menu window and select [Edit App List] from the list of apps .
2 Selecting an app you want to delete will display the trash can icon over the app.
3 If you select the trash icon a message saying [Are you sure you want to delete YouTube?] will pop up. Then select [Yes].
How to Reinstall
1 Select Apps from the Home menu options at the bottom.
2 From the Apps home, press the search icon in the upper right corner.
3 Enter YouTube in the search bar → press Search → press Install.
4 Once installation is complete, relaunch to see if issue has been resolved.
