Color Adjustment

Change the color hue/contrast of your screen, this feature makes the smartphone accessible for some vision-impaired users

To change the hue/contrast:

  1. From the Home screen, tap Apps > Settings > General tab  > Accessibility > Color adjustment

  2. In the image displayed, drag right/left to adjust screen hue or up/down to adjust screen contrast.

Note: If TalkBack is enabled, drag with two fingers.

Large Text

Large text increases the font size of all text on your phone regardless of text settings. This feature makes the smartphone more accessible for visually impaired users.

  1. From the Home screen, tap Apps > Settings > General tab  > Accessibility

  2. Scroll down to Large text, then tap the checkmark to enable.

Invert Color

Invert color provides options to change to white on black. This feature makes the smartphone accessible for some vision-impaired users.

To invert color:

  1. From the Home screen, tap Apps > Settings > General tab  > Accessibility

  2. Checkmark the Invert color and tap OK to enable.
Touch zoom

Touch zoom allow you to zoom in on any screen of your phone. This feature makes the smartphone more accessible for visually impaired users.

To enable Touch zoom:

  1. From the Home screen, tap Apps > Settings > General tab  > Accessibility > Touch zoom.

  2. Tap Touch zoom and then tap the switch  ON to enable.

  3. Triple-tap any screen to zoom in/out and use the following gestures:

    • Drag two or more fingers across the screen to pan the view.
    • Pinch/spread two or more fingers to adjust the zoom level. Note: When Web browsing, triple tap, then pinch/spread fingers to adjust zoom.
    • You can also temporarily magnify what’s under your finger by triple-tapping and holding. In this magnified state, you can drag your finger to explore different parts of the screen. Lift your finger to turn off magnification.

Note: Touch zoom does not work for the keyboard or navigation bar.

Screen shades

Set the brightness to 0% to save power. This feature makes the smartphone more accessible for visually impaired users.

  1. From the Home screen, tap Apps > Settings > General tab  > Accessibility

  2. Scroll down to Shades shades, then tap the checkmark to enable.

Text-to-Speech Output

Text-to-speech output provides an audible readout of text, including the contents of text messages, and the Caller ID for incoming calls. The feature makes the smartphone accessible for vision-impaired users.

  1. From the Home screen, tap Apps > Settings > General tab  > Accessibility > Text-to-speech output.

  2. Choose between Google Text-to-speech Engine or LG TTS+. You must restart your device after selecting a different option to enable.

Note: An application may require the use of a specific text-to-speech engine. Settings such as language can be changed by clicking after selecting a text-to-speech engine.

  1. Tap the gear next to your TTS selection to change your language and download additional languages.

Note: Text-to-speech in a language other than English requires data use. Once the language is downloaded, data will no longer be used for this language.
