A dvd, 2 iPads, 2 iPhones, a Roku all work fine, but I and many others ( see youtube ) can’t make this smart tv act smart. Will not repeat my stupidity and ever buy or recommend a LG tv or any other product LG is aware of the problem and does nothing.

Only downfall is after about 2 years it stopped connecting to wifi and an error message continually pops up on the screen blocking my content. But I guess you get what you pay for. All my products are LG and just replaced this one with a 55 inch E8 OLED.

The setup was easy, very user friendly. I especially like how each setting explains what it is. The sound is not bad but could a bit more clear, but once I hooked up a sound bar, I enjoyed it even more. Mounts easily and I like the number of HDMI ports

A couple months ago a line showed up on the bottom of the screen, contacted LG and couldn’t do much for me but guide me to trouble shoot which didn’t work. Even though it was just a little over a year since we bought it and missed the one year warranty by a couple months. Now the whole bottom is distorted and can’t see the picture. Moved into our new place November 2016 and have all LG appliances and TV’s in the living room and bedrooms. Too bad we couldn’t get any help with this problem and now hoping the rest of our LG products doesn’t clunk as fast as this one did. :(

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible picture and inconsistent information onli I bought this yesterday after searching online to confirm that I would be able to access the HBO app, everthing online said I could get it through premium content. Got it home and it is not available. Tech support was no help. The picture was very dark no matter which option I chose. I could manually change the settings but as soon as I exited out of the menu it went dark again. I now have to go pack it back up and take it.back to the store to seek a refund. This was the worst buying experience for a TV. LG..shame on you for all the inconsistent information. Your tech support was not good at explaining any of these issues or.providing help to me as the consumer.

For the past month the tv sporadically disconnects from the wifi, usually right in the middle of a movie. We have for a repairman coming this week to replace the modem. Hope it works.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed I am really dissatisfied with this tv. We have had it since August of last year. A couple of weeks ago the legs snapped on the front side of the tv. This 65” tv landed on my grandson who is two years old. He wasn’t seriously hurt but it scared him a lot. I feel that the legs on this tv wasn’t appropriate for this size tv. Obviously they didn’t last too long on this tv. As a result of this fact we no longer have use of our tv which we paid over 500.00 for. Your company has told us that even though we haven’t had this tv a whole year yet we cannot get this tv repaired by your company because it’s considered physical damage. We would have to pay money out of our pockets to get this tv repaired even though it’s not our fault the legs weren’t sturdy enough to hold the tv. I feel we were wronged by your company and for this reason we decided that instead of paying for repairs we would just go with another brand of tv. The one we chose is a little bit smaller and it has a sturdy stand on it to sit on our sturdy table that we purchased for the other tv. So I will never purchase another LG product again

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible After a little over a year tv won’t stay connected to WiFi so I cannot use smart tv features which is very annoying considering that’s one of the reasons I purchased it. Also ANNOYING message box keeps coming up at the top of the tv saying “unknown device disconnected” although I don’t have any devices connected nor did I. Called LG several times and did 2 factory resets both no help. Have to take to a repair center half an hour away for them to look at a pay a lot to fix. Just saying I haven’t had any problems with my Samsung smart tv upstairs. Do yourself a favor and don’t buy an LG smart tv you’ll avoid a lot of frustration.

I want 2 more LG TV's. I want a larger one for more, for my other room and a smaller one for my daughter. my kids enjoy the internet and wifi features. I wopuld highly recommend a LG TV product to anybody.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible Warranty Policy Received this TV as a gift around December 2017. All was well until one day in February 2019 the screen started to display a blue/purple tinge. This background color remained blue/purple regardless of what we were watching (Cable, Netflix, YouTube, whatever). LG customer service suggested some solutions to resolve the issue (resetting, etc.), but nothing helped. TV was only manufactured in August of 2017.

I have to adjust the sound with different channels. I have the sound set on auto adjust but it doesn't seem to help. I like most everything else about the TV.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good TV, not enough HDMI inputs The picture is great. 4k from Netflix, Amazon Prime, and an LG 4K UHD/Blu-ray player comes through beautifully. The only knock on this TV is that there are only 3 HDMI ports: 2 regular and one ARC. I've got a cable box, 4K player, Nintendo Switch, and a sound bar, but have to purchase a separate HDMI switch in order to connect all of those devices. The bezel is nice and thin, which makes the screen really pop. I have yet to mount it to the wall, but it seems fairly straightforward (takes VESA 300x300 mounts), so it shouldn't pose an issue. I'm not particularly a fan of the stands (one on each side of the unit) - I prefer a center stand - but as I plan to mount it, this won't be an issue for long. The sound is pretty good for TV speakers, clear and loud enough. I have a vaulted ceiling (16ft), so sound can get pretty lost. This also has some built-in sound adjustments. Once I get a multi-port HDMI switch I will be able to use the sound bar through ARC with all of the devices, which will sound better than the TV speakers anyway. That being said, the sound is suitable for regular viewing; it just won't give you the full theater immersion feel all on its own. The setup was a little frustrating, but only until I realized that I need to get an HDMI switch so that I can use ARC for multiple devices. Part of that issue, though, is also with the sound bar that I have (not an LG device), as it only has one HDMI input and one ARC output. Had I realized this (for both devices) from the beginning, setup would have been nice and easy. I like how the TV will scan for your connected devices, plus you can change the icons and names for the devices to make it easy to remember what's connected where. Overall, it's a great picture, good sound, (relatively) easy setup, and needs at least one more HDMI input for today's devices. I would recommend this one, but would consider upgrading for more inputs as well.

I bought this months ago, and it was easy to get it set up in my stand, and it’s big and easy to see,but actually hooking it up to cable and all that is REALLY confusing for me! The instructions are unclear. One of these days I’ll call for help, I guess. Or find someone young and smart to do it!

the bluetooth audio is oout of sync with the video. how do i adjust syncronization of video with blue tooth audio?

Is LG ever going to update the chrome browser to a version which can stop hijacking and pop-ups?

I am not interested in answers which slide around the question. This web browser is a version years old and has no provision for update. It is virtually unuseable because of the hijack programs - I have found maybe 2 sites that it wont redirect from I would trade the tv in if I could - I believe its a cheaply constructed and difficult to understand and use properly

So I am having a difficult time keeping the WiFi on my smart tv never had an issue before but lately every time the tv is turned off and on it requires me to go a put in WiFi password!  This is getting very inconvenient for our family!
