How can adjust the zoom on this tv? Changing the aspect ratios does not zoom the picture out. Therefore, everything on the edges is cut off. Thanks!

The LG 1080p LED TV - 42" Class (41.9" Diag), Model # 42LN5400 does not have any Bluetooth capabilities for connecting to wireless speakers. The only Audio output on it is the Digital Audio Out (Optical) that can be connected to external receivers or Sound Bars that have an Optical Digital Audio Input on them...^IFV

The LG 1080p LED TV - 42" Class (41.9" Diag), Model # 42LN5400 has manual touch controls on the back of the TV. If you are standing in front of the TV, the controls will be on the right-hand side behind the TV. The controls are Channel Up/Down, Volume Up/Down, Power, Input. Settings and an OK control that selects the highlighted menu option or confirms an input. IF you need a visual aid to locate the manual touch controls, you will find an annotated diagram on page 11 of your owner's manual...^IFV

Is there a way to do a hard reset or factory reset? Menu item's are flashing on the screen by them self.

How do u remove the base ?

Slide the stand downward to remove it from the TV. This is the reverse of the installation steps found on pages 13-14 of your owner’s manual.

I installed a sound plate under the TV and it has an optical connection to the TV. The sound from the TV tuner does not come thought the sound plate but the sound from HDMI sources do and sound fine. Will a software update help this problem?
