What People Are Saying

Rated 3 out of 5 by from GOOD PICTURE I kept unit for 14 days and returned to store as unit was difficult to control with Alexa and LG tech support was not very useful. I was advised I would need a harmony hub for better functionality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome picture This TV has a wonderful picture, great sound, and the smart remote is a nice feature. However, it would have been nice to add all the HDMI to the side vice pointing them backward. It puts stress on the HDMI cord since they are pointing toward the wall when you choose a wall mount. Also, the Google assistant Has been having issues hooking up to the google home. I cant get it to link up with my google home.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent TV I like almost everything about this TV with a couple of exceptions. I find the menu to be non-intuitive and adjusting the picture for brightness problematic.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Long Time Satisfied Customer! We have been an LG TV customer since 2011 and have never bought any other brand. I first bought a 32 inch LG TV for my girlfriend at the time in January of 2011. Now that she is my wife, she had given that TV to her family and it is still performing beautifully. This is our fourth and biggest LG TV since but it is our first 4K model at 75 inches. It is everything that we could ask for!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect display...when you have a perfect source This TV is big, beautiful, and powerful. When watching Netflix, playing games on an Xbox One S or PS4, or watching BluRay movies, this display shines! However, it struggles to produce a clear 1080p image when displaying content delivered through cable/satellite. Still images are perfect, but any motion produces annoying artifacts that are magnified by the display's large size. I have researched settings and tried multiple setup configurations to mitigate these artifacts, but they are highly, highly annoying...especially when watching sports or fast-motion scenes. Sadly, even scrolling messages (like you find at the bottom of sports or news channels) produces this "noise". And yes, I made sure to purchase 4k capable HDMI cables. Overall, I am very happy with this display, and I am not expecting a 4k image from a 1080i source like cable or satellite, but I AM disappointed in the lack of ability to get rid of the motion artifacts that make sports seem less than hi-definition and even TV news anchor's mouths to become blurry/grainy. This display is best suited for movie watching and game playing (with an HDR capable console) than it is everyday TV watching in my opinion.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Picture!!!! I have a couple of LG TV's including this one. My first was a 65UH9500 which I moved to my bedroom to get this TV. I was so impressed with my first LG that when I went shopping for a larger TV I knew I wanted to larger version of what I had. Eventually I will get a OLED after the prices come down a bit more but with the quality of this UHD its not really an urgent need. LG's get a lot of criticism regarding their black levels in their LED TV's. I'm sure when sitting side by side to their excellent OLED it will be noticeable, but to my aging eyes the picture of fantastic. They are somewhat on the more expensive side but if you get their promotional pricing they are right in line with everyone else. This is a premium TV though no doubt. They styling is superb. I have sound bars on both my TV and they sound incredible but they also have good sound on their own. If you're in the market for a new 4k TV, you should definitely give LG a look.

what is the difference between 75SK8070PUA and the 75SK8070PUA-VO

Asked by: CCVROD03
The only models that we have for the LG SK8070PUA 4K HDR Smart LED SUPER UHD TV w/ AI ThinQ® - 75" Class (74.5" Diag) are Model # 75SK8070PUB, Model # 75SK8070AUB and Model # 75SK8070PUA. There is no difference between these models and the letters at the end of the model numbers, "PUB", "PUA", and "AUB" only indicate which retail outlets the TVs are sold in. Regrettably, we are not familiar with Model # 75SK8070PUA-VO. The sites that advertise this model number with the "VO" after the model number advertise the "VO" as meaning 10 -Bit Video Optimized, but the TV 's appear to have the exact same specifications as the other models...^IFV

The peak brightness on the LG SK8070PUA 4K HDR Smart LED SUPER UHD TV w/ AI ThinQ® - 75" Class (74.5" Diag), Model # 75SK8070PUA will vary according to whether the TV is in HDR mode or SDR mode and it can also vary while the TV is displaying some more traditional video content and has to be measured to determine the maximum luminosity the TV can obtain when its lighting is set to the maximum value. This will also vary depending on whether local dimming is activated at max.
