What people are saying
Rated 5 out of 5 by from 4K Perfection My new 75 inch Nano 8 Series is an avid movie and television watchers dream come true! It's simple to follow the instructions to set up. I used my previous wall mount, however the box included a stand alone mount for an entertainment center. It was easy for two people to lift and install. Once powered up it's very user friendly with step by step instructions on Wi-Fi and streaming service setup. The Magic Remote Contol is user friendly and includes a Netflix and Amazon Prime button so the kids can press that quickly to find their favorite shows. The back and side of the television have 4HDMI inputs and 3USB inputs so it was easy to hook up our gaming consoles and Blu-ray player. The TV is very thin and doesn't stick out much from the wall which I love and it's has a thin border around the picture unlike most televisions. The picture is unbelievable with advanced color enhancer, crisp sharpness and superior depth perception that allows you believe you are standing on the field with your favorite ball players. It has enhanced my viewing, I now notice minor details on shows that I didn't before. The resolution is 4K Ultra HD so I feel up to date with the latest and greatest technology and can now watch shows and movies in 4K. The sound is amazing with Dolby Atmos sound technology making you hear a pin drop we often forget to turn on our sound bar. Alexa and Google home software are built in so it's compatible with your favorite devices and my kids use Alexa often. I am beyond impressed with LG and the Nano 8 Series and highly recommend it! I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest opinion.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Picture perfect! Immediately upon receipt of the shipment, I knew the LG Nano 8 Series 75” TV was going to be the most amazing television I have ever owned. Just looking at all the features of this television listed on the box had me very excited. My family had been searching for a new, bigger television for some time. We had looked at many different makes and models and the decision to purchase the LG Nano 8 was an excellent one! I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest opinion. The box was huge! There was no way I could move it by myself so I didn’t even try. My husband and I were able to move it together to our downstairs entertainment room with a good amount of effort. Once there, we began the process of taking the unit out of the packaging. The television was packaged perfectly and nothing was damaged. We then proceeded with the minor assembly process. The television is large, but very thin. It is also fairly heavy and I did have some trouble helping to lift it onto our stand. Once set up and plugged in, my husband and I had the pleasure of looking at the most amazing picture quality we had ever seen. The television was easy to use, easily hooked up to our wi-fi and within a few moments we were in awe. This is actually our first wi-fi enabled television. The remote works like a computer mouse making it so easy to navigate the menus. Just point and click! As someone who is apprehensive about using new technology, I found that the television was fairly easy to navigate, although for me the process of learning all its features is still ongoing. I love, and I mean love, the picture quality on this television. The first time I sat down and watched a movie I couldn’t believe how realistic the picture made the movie. I felt like I was there with the actors, almost like I could reach out and touch them. The picture quality is that good. Everything about the picture from the brightness to the colors make the picture so incredible it’s difficult to describe it in words. I just love watching it and find myself asking everyone in the house if they want to watch a movie with me fairly regularly. The sound quality on the television is really good. Our old television was hooked up to our older, but high quality, surround sound system. Our plan was to hook this television up to the same system as it was already installed in our home. Unfortunately, the LG Nano did not have an “audio out” jack to connect to our system. It seems the new technology is to utilize a sound bar. We are still deciding how to proceed with this dilemma, and have considered buying a new receiver for our sound system. But the fact that we couldn’t hook our system up was a bit of a disappointment. I have to reiterate though that this television is by far the best one we have ever owned. Our teen children love watching videos and movies on it and are probably better at using all its feature than I am at this point. It certainly is a good investment and overall, we are pleased with our decision to buy it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Couldn't be happier. I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest opinion.Got this tv a couple weeks ago, and couldn't be happier. Having the 4K is a huge advantage. Even for older movies, it feels like the recording is live tv. Watching sports is incredible! The quality of the picture lets you see details that I've never seen before. Something I didn't expect I would use so much, was the Smart tv capability. I find myself quite a bit connecting to the internet for various reasons. Some key items: - very easy to unbox and set up - startup has a few steps but necessary to get connected to the internet, and very easy to complete - navigation of the home screen items is simple and easy to use - image quality is great - audio - I thought I might need to hook up my home sound system to the tv, but so far I've been very happy with the quality of sound. Better than I expected. - lastly - everyone in the family likes it too! I would highly recommend this to others.

Is the input lag good enough as 75sk8070(18y model)? Console gaming is quite important for me and I know the model of the last year of yours were pretty good.

Asked by: JS JS
There are some online reviewers who have tested this LG Nano 8 Series 4K 75 inch Class Smart UHD NanoCell TV w/ AI ThinQ® (74.5'' Diag), Model # 75SM8670PUA and measured its input lag for 1080p @ 60 Hz at 14.0ms, 1440p @ 60 Hz at 14.0ms, 4k @ 60 Hz at 14.0ms, 4k @ 60 Hz + HDR at 13.8ms, 4k @ 60 Hz @ 4:4:4 at 30.5ms, 1080p @ 120 Hz at 6.8ms, 1440p @ 120 Hz at 6.8ms. To get the lowest input lag you must set the TV in 'Game' mode and to get low input lag and proper chroma 4:4:4 just change the input icon to PC. The picture mode does not matter. The TV supports an Auto Low Latency mode that LG calls 'Instant Game Response,' but it only works with compatible devices like the Xbox One. When 'Instant Game Response' detects that you're playing a game, it switches to 'Game' mode. After that, if you switch to another picture mode, you are still getting low input lag and the only available settings are the 'Game' mode ones. This means that all picture modes can have the same low input lag when 'Instant Game Response' is activated...^IFV
