Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent picture with better than average sound I am very happy with purchase. A few connection issues regarding external sound source combined with use of internal speaker. Picture is THE BEST!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great features and intuitive interface Best Buy purchase. 4k picture is amazing. Very little glare from lighting in living room. Simple remote does what I need because interface is so good. Wired and wireless network connection works great. Streams off my Synology NAS using PLEX media server reliably and was easy to setup with software available on LG content store. Store has a bunch of useful apps. Android remote control app is to use, setup, and reliable. Highly recommend overall.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A beautiful piece of art... We've owned the set for about 3 weeks now, and still can't believe the clarity of the picture. This is a beautiful piece of art masquerading as technology. I have tweaked the picture over time to suit our environment. The sound bar built on to the television sounds clear and full. More than happy with the purchase. The compliments from friends and family just reaffirm a great decision. I only have one critical comment. The screen brightness while maintaining color balance could be improved. There is a learning curve when using the remote and accessing the menu screens. It's very intuative, however.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome picture quality This is an amazing product, picture quality is excellent. My only concern is that I mounted it on the wall with a standard mount and would have preferred to be able to remove the attached folding base.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Everything really does look better on an OLED One of the primary reasons I bought this unit was that I usually watch from straight on (most TV pictures look great straight on) but often am in the kitchen at an angle (ALL non-OLED non-Plasma tv pictures degrade at an angle). The LG OLED picture is great at an angle and 25 feet away. The 77" set, while undeniably expensive, is worth the price if you have a large room. You'll be at home more and eventually the money you save from going out to restaurants, movies and bars will recover the cost.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Picture I've had this a few weeks now. I replaced a large TV that was not 4K. The difference is amazing. I am eager for more 4K programming to be available.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Yea.. the picture is great.. whatever.. I have the 65G and I really want the 77, because the picture IS that good. As some people have mentioned, I have only one gripe, the sound! My question is, why would you spend this kind of money and expect the sound to be as good (or at the level you would want from this picture) from the small TV speaker system? The correct solution is to drop the speaker, drop the price, ditch the apps, and give me a I/O box to plug in a video source! I will use my equivalently high end AV receiver and ridiculously expensive speakers to give the proper experience to this image! Why pay for stuff I will never use! I really hope it's in your future lineup!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incredibly Impressive I had the 65" OLED upstairs and decided to add the 77" OLED downstairs. It is an incredible addition that provides mouth-watering and awe-inspiring pictures whether you are streaming or showing a DVD. My TV provider's picture is the best I have seen on this TV. I have other TV brands in my home and the OLED improves the quality of the picture. In my opinion, this is the best investment that tops off my Entertainment Center. My family loves it, as do I!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Tv made I bought the LG OLED 77G7P a month ago. I have it mounted on the wall. Picture is the best I have ever seen, aesthetics are wonderful with it are floating on the wall. Movies are like being at the theatre with the large screen. The attached sound bar provides very good sound, better than any other TV I have listened to. The attached sound bar can not compete with a separate sound bar or audio system but is nevertheless an improvement over other TV audio. Web OS is easy to use, much better than other brands for navigation and ease of use. The only downside to this versus other large TVs would be the cost, however the best TV picture I have ever seen, particularly stunning with the large screen, very good sound without needing calibration or changes with different sources, easy to use remote and setup are the benefits.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from OLED65G7P IS THE BEST TV!!! I see why LG label this tv as one of their Signature series tv. The sleek and clean look of the speaker, looking like a heatsink. The very thin panel screen looks amazing it holds so much in such a thin product, even the back is nice to look at. The colors and sound are incredible and I love the remote control. The 4k and wireless connections are great as well. I love browsing on the tv. The quality and features are the best! I will never have to buy another tv again! Trust me it's worth the price and purchase, couldn't be any happier. Thanks LG Team!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from FANTASTIC & IMPRESSIVE! Have OLED 77" for little less than a month and it is truly impressive. All of the colors are so vivid and TV is so bright. Absolutely a wonderful picture with streaming 4K and even when watching upscaled HD programming. The "details" that you see with this OLED are almost unbelievable compared to non-OLED that we are familiar with. The"bells & whistles" that this model has is also very impressive. The number of apps pre-installed with the internet capability are excellent. The remote is really cool with the red-dot cursor on the TV making the selections of internet Apps or various Settings very easy and user-friendly. The settings menu is really good with all the different settings that are available for fine-tuning the TV to your desired viewing. The really great feature here is when you place the red-dot cursor on a setting, a side-screen appears that tells you what can be accomplished by using this setting. This is truly user-friendly by LG. Good job techies. No doubt, this size OLED cost quite a few bucks. But I am starting to realize that it will be worth it to have this leading-edge technology that will present all TV viewing that is an incredible (honestly!) picture and especially for all the 4K programming which will be coming out in the near future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Elegant!! Wife bought this OLED G7 for my brithday as a surprise. WOW!!! I could not believe it. The tv did not come on exactly my birthday day. They had to make it. It came about a week after. I guess they don't have these types of tv laying around in the room of the store. I can see why now that i have in my MAN cave HA-HA-HA. Anyways, i was a little sad that my LOVELY wife only made me dinner for my birthday. YES!! I AM VERY SPOILED! The tv looks great watching sports and movies. I still need to have COLLABORATED. which I will do in time. very very grateful for the the tv and more importantly for my wife.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Beautiful Picture, having problems already I have had this TV for almost 3 months now, so, I now can give a reasonable review. The picture is beautiful; the best I have ever seen on a TV, including plasma. The dark vs not dark contrast is so vivid, it makes me want to watch certain scenes over and over again (the black Charger John Wick is given looks incredible). The apps are ok; I wish it was easier to load more and some of the ones there don't appear to be the full version (Amazon Prime for example; I can't get Amazon music to show on the TV's version. I have to switch to my playstation or the Amazon Fire to play the music. Also, no backlit remote? I have to constantly turn on the lights to see which button to push. Seriously? I am starting to have problems with the HDMI connections. About 2 weeks ago, the Fire stopped showing on the TV. I thought it was the Fire. I unplugged it and replugged it several times before it would show. The screen then would get snowy and go away. I then got the "no signal" prompt. I changed HDMI slots to no avail. Thought I would have to get a new Fire. A few days later, the PlayStation did the same thing. I knew nothing was wrong with that. A day or so later, my brand new OPPO 4K DVD player had the same thing happen. Dang! I was hoping that was a bad couple days so, I waited. Yesterday (Oct 6, 2017), it happened again with the OPPO. So, I am going to be giving LG a call first thing Monday morning. I may update this after that conversation. On the upside again, the TV itself is darned beautiful, even when it is off. I have it wall mounted; which was an adventure in itself; the Geek Squad apparently had never wall mounted one of these before. The LG rep said they had never had one wall mounted, either. Took them several hours to get that done. I think I would, and I want to recommend this; I will have to see what LG does about this problem before I can be more definitive.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Spectacular viewing This picture is so crisp it is almost unbelievable; and the color is so true to life. This is the most AWESOME television on the market; no other television even compares!!! And because it is also a smart TV it has almost endless features that allow you view in so many different formats. The only limit to this TV is your imagination.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Black Level Ratio Put it this way, when we are watching a movie at night and the movie fades to black, the TV disappears. We cannot see the border of the screen. That's how excellent the black level is. This in turn creates the sharpest contrast and richest color. Oh and by the way, it's basically a thin piece of glass.

Can you wall mount the oled77G7P? How

Asked by: Dmp1
The OLED77G7P is really only designed to be used with the LG OTW630B wall mount. I have mounted 2 for work and ran into this issue both times because the client wasn't sold the mount. The way the base is secured for mounting requires the included security clips which double as the mounting points for this specific mount. To use another mount, you cannot use the LG provided security clips and you will have to rely on the mounting arms to keep the base in place which would require long M8 screws for the upper holes and spacers to account for the offset that would normally be addressed by the supplied security clips. The base for the 65" secures a little differently and will therefore work with most VESA mounts.

Can the OLED65G7P be wall mounted without the attached base? I have the unit and based mounted to my wall with the screen sitting out away from the wall. I would prefer to leave the base on a console table and the screen mounted against the wall.

I am sorry but you can not separate these pieces on this unit. ^AC
