What people are saying

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst Appliance Purchase I Have Ever Made! This washer has been randomly staining our clothes with grease/oil like stains since we purchased it over a year ago. It has been thoroughly cleaned, and the drain hose has been replaced, but is still ruining clothes. This doesn’t happen every cycle, but I’ve tried different settings, various detergents, and even running cleaning cycles more often than should be needed for a brand new machine. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY. LG customer service is absolutely no help and the 1yr warranty is way too short for issues like this to be resolved. I should have returned this the first time I noticed a stain.

What type of chime, ring, buzzer etc. does the washer & dryer have to notify the end of cycle? And can it be turned off if necessary?

Asked by: Texoma2808
The ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 4.5 cu. ft. High Efficiency Front Load Washer with Steam in Graphite Steel, Model # WM3670HVA plays a melody when the wash cycle ends. It has a Signal button on the control panel that allows you to change the melody or turn it off if desired. ^CP

Why is most of our loads taking over 2 hours to finish? Does this mean our washer needs repairs? We have had this washer for 2 years and have been having this problem for the last month now.

What are the rinse cycles 1, 2 & 3 used for?

Asked by: Seattlesas
Hello, sadly we are not understanding your question as the unit does not have 3 different rinse cycles. The unit has the option to add an additional rinse to the end of a cycle making it perform 2 rinses or perform a rinse & spin cycle only with washing clothing. If this does not help, please feel free to drop us a line on Twitter at @LGUSSupport or on Facebook at @LGUSSupport or just give us a call at 1-800-243-0000. ^AC

Which front load models have a 75 minute wash cycle

Asked by: Kmkm
Hi Kmkm. Unlike older washing machines that had a set time for how long certain cycles ran, the cycle times for our washing machines will vary. LG washers take variables such as cycle selected, the load size, load weight, fabric type, fabric thickness, amount of suds, the water temperature and more into account. These variables may extend cycle duration as they may require more water, take more time to absorb the water or take longer to drain and spin. The required water pressure for our washing machines is between 14.5 PSI and 116 PSI. If the water pressure to the unit is at the lower end of this range, it will take longer for the unit to fill which adds to the cycle time. Some added options like the WATER PLUS option extend the fill time since this option adds additional water to the cycle and that too, extends the cycle time. The STAIN cycle option will add time to the wash cycle to enhance wash performance and the STAN CARE option adds time because it needs to heat the water to different temperatures according to the stain selected for an enhanced stain removal. The wash and rinse optimizer add time by extending the wash cycle if there is not enough detergent for the cycle and will add time to the rinse cycle if there is too much detergent. There is the AUTO SUDS REMOVAL feature which activates if the washer detects excessive suds in the unit. If it is automatically added without selecting any option, the washer will drain and add water to dilute the concentration of the detergent. This feature can be activated multiple times within the same wash cycle and each activation adds approximately 12 minutes to the wash cycle. If you select the Cold Wash™ option, wash time will be increased up to ten minutes...^IFV
