What people are saying

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very disappointed We have had this washer for 4 years literally the most expensive yet worst washer I’ve owned. Yes it’s large yes it holds a lot but here’s what it does - - half of the clothes are in water while the other half sit above the water - I have pictures of clothes where only parts of them look like they even got wet or washed after they are done- so I have to use the extra water cycle for every single load - dark clothes come out with some type of white stuff that looks like powder detergent all over them - but I only use liquid. Have tried numerous detergents. It’s not the detergent! So I have to use the extra water AND extra rinse every cycle - still occurs sometimes - I’ve taken clothes out to find dirt all over them. Not sure where it’s coming from - maybe stuck in the washer and washing back into the tub ?? For a washer that’s supposed to be high tech I would rather have a basic one that works. Lg was no help.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Big Change I bought this washer in December to replace a front load machine I’m so glad I don’t have to wipe a gasket on front door after washes, I don’t have to get on my hands & knees to drain the machine or clean a filter once a month, I like the Turbo wash features & steam clean feature, the machine has a quite a few wash options. Really like the black stainless.

We are thinking about purchasing the WT7600HKA from Lowes. I see that it is discontinued. Should we be concerned about this? Is there a reason it was discontinued that we should be concerned about. This is a significant purchase and we want to be sure

Is it normal for the black stainless finish to scratch so easily? We have only ever placed a plastic laundry basket on our machines and they are all scratched and look horrible. Very disappointed and would like to know what can be done.

What is the temperature in Fahrenheit for each of the temp settings?

Asked by: Hype
To provide an optimum washing performance, it is recommended that the hot water temperature from your water heater be set at 120 – 130 °F (48 – 54 °C) and the cold at 60 °F (15 °C). Water heaters are factory set at OSHA recommended levels, around 140°F (60°C). On the other hand, the EPA suggests turning the thermostat down to 120 °F (48 °C). If you've never adjusted the temperature on your hot water heater, it's probably set to 140°F (60°C) which is the default setting from most manufacturers. The hot water setting for the washer will be the temperature of the hot water coming from your water heater and the extra hot will be above that temperature. Typically for washing machines, the warm water setting or the medium water setting is between 110°F and 90°F (43.3-32.2°C). And, the cold water setting is between 80°F and 60°F (26.7-15°C)...^IFV

I am purchasing the WT7600 washer and would like to purchase a Pan for underneath.  Is there a compatible pan?  Does LG sell them?

Asked by: pkathena
Thank you for purchasing the LG 5.2 cu. ft. Mega Capacity Top Load Washer with TurboWash® Technology, Model # WT7600HKA. Regrettably, LG does not manufacture or sell pans. The washer does not have enough clearance to fit a pan under it so the type of pan that you will need is one that the entire washer can sit in. You can use the width and depth dimensions (27" x 28 3/8") as a guideline for the minimum size pan you need for the washer...^IFV
