Rated 5 out of 5 by from LG Washer & Dryer I bought this washer and dryer from Aaron's, it is so nice. I was renting a washer and dryer from Bestway to that was very used and didn't like it overpriced junk, I love this one, its brand new AND I'm paying less every month as well as paying less overall for a better washer and dryer, so its win, win, win clear across the board! P.S., I also like that the filter is on the inside of the dryer, makes it easier to clean and less messy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not happy I am of average height and I cannot reach the bottom of the drum to get the clothes out of the washer. When I called, they said I should stand on a chair.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very Unhappy! There are three water temperatures on this machine. I wish to wash white items in hot water. This High Efficiency washer does not allow the use of hot water. It always adds cold water so you end up washing in luke warm water. I spoke at great lengths with Customer Support and was told there is no way you can use just hot water. I even tried turning the cold water faucet off while the machine was filling, and it stops filling because it senses no cold water is also being added!! It's incredible not to be able to wash certain items in HOT water! Very sorry I purchased this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Washer! Bought this washer about 9 months ago. It is absolutely the best washer I have ever owned. It conserves water but you can add water if you so desire. It is quiet and cleans the clothes thoroughly. My clothes have never been cleaner. In nine months it has only been off balance once. Read the manual and get to know it and you will find it amazing. Especially good for small condo or apartment and fits in small laundry closet. Cannot recommend it enough.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love all the choices of a load and quietness I have had my washer for a couple of months. It is so quiet I hardly know it is on. So easy and efficent. We do a lot of laundry in this house at least seven loads a week or more. Love the little tune it plays to let me know it is done.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Water Waster Worst washing machine I have ever used. Constantly unbalanced load, it then refills with water to unbalance, usually same effect. you have to head down when you think it is on rinse cycle to avert the massive water waste. HUGE Water bill increase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AWESOME MACHINE I bought this LG Washing Machine a few days ago, and I am pleased with it's performance and style. I am hoping that those bad reviews I had read about it is untrue, because after the Deliveryman hooked it up at my home, my wife have been washing our backlog of clothes, and it is just awesome. Because I have had this Washing Machine for only a few days now, I can't tell how lasting it is.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst of the worst I replaced my front load with this and wish I had my money back every time I do laundry! It doesn't clean your clothes, I have to wash work clothes twice and most of the time they're still not clean.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst washer I have ever owned I purchased this about 3 months ago and wish I would have gone with anything but this. It is always off balanced no matter what size load I wash. Cant wash large loads at all have to stand and manually adjust so it will spin without refilling with water multiple times. My water bill is higher than it has ever been because it just keeps refilling trying to balance the load. Would not recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy wash day I received delivery about a month ago. Was a little worried about this new type of washer - no agitator- wasn't sure it would clean well. After getting used to the settings. Was very satisfied with the results.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I Love My New High Tech Washer! My son bought this washer for us - thank you my one and only! I am very pleased with my first new "high tech" washer. The amount of clothes per load is mind boggling to me. I give the overall operation 2 thumbs up!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed I bought this washing machine to replace a front load LG washer I had for 14 years. I loved my old washing machine, but this one does not wash well. It boasts that it has a large capacity, but you can't put even a twin comforter in and expect it to wash in one cycle. I find it in a ball with dry parts, even when I choose "bulky" as the cycle. If all you have to wash are medium to small loads that are not very dirty, the rest of the features are nice. Very disappointed and want my old LG front load washer back.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Sorry I spent good money on this washer ! Takes way too long to do a small load of laundry. A magnifying glass is needed to see the writing on the control buttons. Clothes with spills normally take two washes compared to one with my previous conventional washer.. Very disappointed.. Wish I had not purchased. I want my old washer back!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst washer I have ever owned It is now filling with water for the fourth time. I have 3 queen sheets in it and it becomes unbalanced no matter how I arrange them. Smartbalance is the worst feature ever.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from i like this washer it cleans well...you guts should have had the dryer i would have purchased that also. We had to wait a month and a few weeks for this washer, maybe you guys can have some state side instead of across the water.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quiet and cleans well This is my first high efficiency washer and I was a bit hesitant from other product reviews about these washers in general. I am so delighted with how quiet it is. With an open floor plan the washer is next to the living room where we watch TV and I do not even notice when the machine is on. It makes some noise, just very low and ignorable. When I first saw the control panel I thought it would be very complicated to learn. I read the instruction booklet and watched a Youtube video. It is actually not that difficult at all to set the machine for a load. The machine automatically picks the right water level. My clothes come out very clean. The clothes are never tangled or damaged (even delicate blouses) as some reviews stated. I place the clothes into the machine around the edges to make the load as evenly balanced as possible (if you just dump the basket of clothes into the machine there might be some issues with an imbalanced load). I also followed the instructions about dividing the wash into loads of similar weight materials. So heavier clothes like jeans and sweats are separated from lighter fabrics like blouses, shirts, tees and undies. I bought the matching dryer also. The wash does take a bit longer than a traditional machine, but since the clothes are dryer at the end of the wash, the dryer takes less time than usual, so laundry time is about the same for me. I appreciate that at the end of the wash there is a little tune played instead of a buzzer. So pleasant. I do wash once a week, usually 3 or 4 loads, and just clean those 2 filters in the machine after the last wash is done. There is also a once a month bleach wash you are supposed to do to keep muskiness from taking hold. I have a small closet that houses the washer and dryer and this was the only model that would fit in my closet which is a tad less than 30" deep. I do not know why washers and dryers have gotten so deep. There must be plenty of other condo dwellers who also need smaller full sized machines. All in all I love this washer. It is quiet, cleans well and fits in my small laundry closet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome product! I bought this washer 4 months ago and I absolutely love it! It has all the features I wanted and is quiet. I have a closet (era 1968) that was built for a small washer/dryer and I searched for months to find the right size washer without having to expand the closet and plumbing. This fit right in and I can close the doors! Thank you LG for making smaller machines!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Purchased today and am enjoying being able to wash my comforters without going to the laundry mat. It also seems much gentler so that I'm not worried about fabrics being torn. GOOD PRODUCT!

Whether the LG 3.3 cu. ft. Is there anyway to soak the clohes with Fabric Softener for at least 15 minutes? Draining water after 5 minutes pause/ off is not a good idea at all!

What is the unlatchable part of the washer lid used for

Asked by: Mizery
We appreciate your interest in this washing machine. This hinged door handle is designed for the convenience of being able to still grasp the handle, whether the top of the lid faces toward you or is open and facing the wall. If you do not wish to use this feature, simply leave the lock active under the lid.

This may sound crazy but i started te machine but there is no water running in it and everything is hooked up right and settings are to. So what do u think it may be?

Asked by: DH80
We regret the trouble you have experienced with this washing machine. This top loading washer is designed to fill the tub from below the clothing, rather than from above. If the water valves are open, allowing water to flow into the machine, then this should be occurring. If this is not the case, please contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000 for additional assistance.

Does this have a lock on the lid like the front load washer or can you raise the lid to add a piece of clothing without pausing?

Asked by: John133
The LG 3.3 cu. ft. Extra Large Capacity Top Load Washer with Sleek and Modern Front Control Design, Model # WT901CF has an Add Garment feature which will illuminate near the beginning of the wash cycle to indicate when it is safe to add items to the load. At that point, you will need to press the Start/Pause button to pause the cycle and add garments to the load then press the Start/Pause button to resume the cycle. The door only stands up when opened fully and it does not have a lock. It is recommended to only add items when the Add Garments light is illuminated otherwise you could get a poor wash performance...^IFV
