Screen does not turn on or off properly. Why?
Symptom
Cell phone screen does not turn on or off properly.
Cause
Proximity sensor is activated when the cell phone is placed near the ear during a call to turn off the screen.
It is to prevent malfunctions due to touches by ear. When the call is ended and phone is taken away from the face,
the screen and touch sensor are back on.
How to fix
1. When the screen turns on during a call or the screen does not turn back on after the call ends,
please clean the proximity sensor on the front to be free of dirt.
2. Try to give a good clean with a soft cloth.
※ Protective films and cell phone cases manufactured by third parties may cause the proximity sensor to malfunction.
