I have been reading some of the reviews here and the feeling generally seems to be the same as far as the remote goes. My brother bought the 49 inch about a yr before I bought mine. So I was quite impressed looking at his and especially cause of the fancy magic remote. While I was in shops last yr November they decided to put the 65um7100pvb on special, only 5 up for grabs at a pretty good price. After listening to the guy doing his thing and how clever it all was that you can just talk to the tv I decided what the hell it's time for a new tv. Get home and start unpacking and putting everything together, and then finally discover it comes with the cheapest remote control available, major disappointment. A remote control is not the only reason you by a tv, but when you buying a fantastic 65 inch then the last thing you expect it to come with is the cheapest option. That's like buying a sports car that comes with standard rims and hubcaps instead mags. I am very disappointed with LG and whoever is to blame for putting this package together. The tv overall is fantastic, picture quality is brilliant. Sound quality could be a bit better, also no aux output on the tv I find totally ridiculous, only the new fancy optical out is available. Even some of the cheaper brands still have both available. and last but not least the tv has a satellite in available on it, but unless I'm blind I don't see a pcmcia card slot available on the back of the tv, so whats the point of the satellite connection?
