What People Are Saying

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fantastic picture quality We were very impressed when we first saw an LG OLED TV. We knew we had to have one - but we bought it a bit too soon... It was very expensive and shortly afterwards, the prices dropped quite a lot. We could have saved money or bought a better model! That's the problem with being an early adopter. No regrets though, it's a super TV: bigger, better and lighter than our old one. The only disadvantage with the model we bought is the audio performance - get the model with better sound or add a sound bar.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great picture at the expensive of everything else The picture quality is outstanding, probably the best I've seen, which is why I bought the set. The rest, not so good. The OS is slow and cartoonish. One tuner means it isn't possible to watch one channel and record another - really? Pause lasts about one minute making it useless in practice. The killer problem for me is the inability to stream local 4K content over IP. I have to ferry content on a USB stick LG acknowledge this doesn't work, and won't commit to fixing it. Also no ITV hub or channel 4 support in the UK. Smart remote is WII-esque and feels crude and dated frankly. Also inconsistent audio sync timing across apps, BBC iplayer especially is way out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Like going to cinema overtime you switch on Only had for just over a week and i'm blown away by the quality. Any HD source will be upscaled to 4K which is remarkable. You'll find that you rematch films/programmes again, as this tv shows so much detail. I've watched Revenge of the Sixth, Game of Thrones and numerous other films, just brilliant.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super Product Working in the Broadcast Industry in the UK I am more critical than most on the quality of TVs but this model is astoundingly good considering its relative price with the competition. The picture quality is excellent as is the sound with both SD and HD/3G reproduction handled excellently by the inbuilt upscaler. 4K reproduction from online streaming is, frankly, jaw dropping with most of your time spent watching around the screen rather than the actual story being portrayed! Very easy to use - I only read the manual to work out how to put the stand onto the TV. Connected straight onto the internet and - as is customary with all products - works much better with a wired Ethernet connection. Superb.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Broke after 7 weeks Fantastic picture. Paid a lot of money for this tv only for it to break after 7 weeks. Currently been without a tv for 3 weeks waiting for a new one delivering. Had to fight to get a new one! First LG tv and not impressed!! Poor service by Currys and LG waiting for initial repair which never happened. Would have got money back if given the option!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Truly amazing blacks and clarity Product is spectacular in image particularly blacks. Out of box is too bright but pre set picture modes and a little brightness adjustment addresses. It is high on cost but absolutely worth it. Truly stunning picture quality and blacks like you have never seen before. Don't be put off by curve. It's very subtle.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding definition Didn't know quite what to expect after forking out a lot of dosh for this TV! Have to say I'm not disappointed - the clarity and definition is superb although it seems to loose something when watching the wider angled shots for sports such as football or rugby - but the close ups more than make up for it. Would have preferred a hard copy instruction manual though as I'm sure we still haven't found all of the features this TV has!
