[LG CordZero R9] I hear the loud noises

Troubleshooting

While using the robot vacuum cleaner, does it make sounds as it hits the floor?
Does the motor sound get louder and quieter repeatedly?

Although the robot vacuum cleaner is small, as it has a smart inverter mounted in it, it can suck in air from the floor very hard for cleaning.
Especially, by using the turbo or smart turbo function, you can increase the suction power more than the perfect cleaning or zigzag mode, thus noises can be louder.
In addition, if the dust bin is full, then air flows will be reduced, thus it will try to suck in ever harder and loud noises can be generated.
As the robot vacuum cleaner's rotating brush, wheel or caster moves, dusts and foreign objects can be stuck there, thus as it contacts the floor, sounds can be generated.

Causes and Symptoms

  • It is cleaning in turbo or smart turbo mode.
  • Dust bin is filled up with dusts.

Especially, if you select the smart turbo function, the robot vacuum cleaner will use the dust sensor to assess places with lots of dusts and increase the suction power accordingly.
Also, when it moves over a rough floor or over a carpet, it increases the suction power, and in this case, noises can be louder.
