What People Are Saying

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poorly Made Product We purchased this microwave in 2012. About 2 years in (after warranty is done of course), an interior plastic bracket broke, causing the door to sit slightly wonky. Then the plastic brackets holding the exterior glass broke and it now exposes the inside glass. The suction on the fan has been terrible, so I'm not overly sad to replace this microwave. It won't be with another LG.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Looks Good, Falls Apart We had this model of Micro combo hood fan for 4 years before we literally ripped it off the wall and threw it in the garbage. It worked fine for exactly 2 years. Then the top trim piece fell off because the cheap plastic clips holding it on just snapped one day. Then the front glass just came loose and slipped down into the bottom of the door frame, so you could see the inner glass at the top. After that the plastic door enclosure rim cracked and pieces fell off near the handle. We called in to see about getting new pieces to replace the broken bits but the cost would have been as much as a whole new unit. Warranty was up so there would be labour charged for the service call. The mechanics of the unit functioned but with the cosmetics built like a cheap piece of bric a brac what's the use if it can still microwave or not. Also, to add insult to injury we are not avid microwavers, maybe only used the microwave 3 times a week to heat stuff up only, never have cooked anything in a microwave. The hood fan functioned but the aluminum filters never fit in right and looked like they didn't belong with the unit, but they did. Suction was weak for supposedly 350 CFM. Look Good, Work Bad. We have an LG stove and have had issues with that unit as well. LG appliances, never again!
