FROST BUILDUP – WATER IN CRISPER

Condensation flows down the inner panels to the bottom of the

vegetable crisper

Cause

Whenever air is prevented from properly circulating on account of frost buildup inside refrigerator

and around cool air outlets, condensation will form and some moisture will trickle down the vegetable

crisper turning to water.

Opening the refrigerator door frequently can cause frost to form.

Troubleshooting

Remove frost so that cool air can normally circulate by turning off power a few hours to thaw

the inside. Then, wipe clean with a towel and plug refrigerator back into AC outlet.
