What People Are Saying

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I want another one I gave the 55LH85 all 5 stars. I would like an LG in each room of the house. All 5 stars should say it all better than I can! :) Buy one and you will see what I mean...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sweet Picture is great. No audio sync problems as reported by others. Only problem to date, 1-week old, is HDMI output from Dish VIP-722 receiver connected to Media Box dropped out after a couple of days. HDMI works fine when connected directly to TV or if component inputs are used. Need to contact LG Support to investigate. All in all I give it 4 stars. If I get HDMI compatibility fixed then rating will be 5 stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great TV The picture is one of the sharpest pictures that I have seen on a TV. The TV is easy to install and very easy to use. I am really glad I purchased an LG TV. The quality is second to none!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great TV, poor Media Box First off I'd like to say that I love the TV itself. It has great picture and all the wonderful user settings found in all LG TV's. The issue I have with it is the media box. The idea is excellent, but LG's implementation of it is lacking in one key area, the wireless link. The problem is in the position of the radio in the media box. The radio is in the front of the box and being at 60 GHz means it's very directional and prone to interference unless aligned perfectly. What this means is you have a very nice looking media box that must face the TV. This means you get to look at the back of the media box with all the wires or suffer with a poor signal and picture. Why you would not put the radio in the back of the media box I fail to understand. There is a HDMI input in the back of the TV itself, so I will be getting rid of the box and switching my inputs through my AV receiver.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My big TV This is a great tv I have own it since Dec. 2009. The wireless feature is great for me because I albe to leave all my components in there original location and mount my screen 20' away in a ideal location. All of my friends say it is the best picture they have ever seen. I had to wait for about a week before Direct TV could install HD service and standard def was OK but HD service brought out the true potential of this TV!
