What People Are Saying

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazingly GOOD! I bought this product March of 2014, I have been looking for a nice smart tv and luckily, I found this one. I couldn't ask for more, picture quality and features wise are absolutely highly recommended! And it freaks me out that I can convert the pictures from 2D to 3D. Most of my friends were stunned and amazed with this product. Combined with Bose speakers and subwoofer! Wow!!! I seldom go to moviehouse now, watching comfortably with 3D with friends and some popcorn and drinks. If you are looking for something that satisfies your craving for superb performance and technology.. This product fits you. Trust me! :-)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Has everything I need and more! I am very happy with this TV so far. 3D is a lot more engaging than I thought it would be. The picture quality is very good (8/10) in my opinion, but I do have some "light bleed" that is noticeable while the screen is black. The sound quality is poor in my opinion, with voices (the most important part) seeming lost in the mix, but I generally use my receiver for sound, so it doesn't affect me much. I did try the Miricast feature (with my 1st gen Ipad), the app is unstable causing the TV to crash, and also causes the TV speakers to pop and crackle badly... I'll try that again after an update. There was also no sound to the Ipad at all. The Remote is a bit odd to get used to, and the menus seem inconsistent and are sometime tough to navigate. Also, I would like the option to name ALL the inputs, and choose which are shown in the quick "123" menu (who watches "tv" through coax anymore?) Overall I am happy so far and will continue to buy LG, especially if some of these minor concerns are addressed with software updates. MAKE CERTAIN you do your updates, overall performance was dismal prior to the 2 updates!
