What People Are Saying

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Would not recommend I bought this phone 1 year and 4 days ago and I have experienced what people are calling a boot loop. I am extremely unimpressed and have lost everything on my phone.... Let's see if they will do something for me. Most likely not.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Still holds up against 2017 competitors. Let’s start with the design and build, most notably the curved backside of the phone which has a rounded cylinder look, which means it feels good in the hand because of the natural feel of the curve. The back also holds its volume buttons, power/ wake button, speakers, a 16MP camera along with a dual flash system and a laser auto focus panel. That’s a heck of a lot to put on the back of a phone. The mainstream way of doing things is usually to put the lock button and volume on the side edges of the phone. But LG’s way of doing things work very well for the most part because the volume and lock buttons are at a very natural spot where your fingers naturally rest when holding a smartphone, I appreciate LG for thinking differently and executing great button placement. I woud have also wised for a fingerprint scanner on this one. But one downside is the speaker, it is definitely loud and decent sounding but the placement is not the best. It faces away from you which prevents you from experiencing the sound fully when playing media on your device. I would have preferred front facing speakers on the top and bottom bezels of the front of the phone. The performance is just as smooth as day 1, due to LG's great power optimization. The battery life is standard, 3 1/2 hours of screen on time. Trust me there are bigger and faster charging batteries out there but this one is great for power users because youre able to swap out the battery for a new one whenever you need, there is no better way to get a phone from 0-100 than just swapping the battrery, it takes less than a minute to do so! I could go on all day about this phone, one thing to note is that the bootloop defect has caused problems to many G4's including my own. But I was under the 1 year warranty and got it fixed free of charge. If youre looking for a phone that can widthstand the test of time, then look no further that the G4.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Originally bought for the camera...... I was skeptical since my wife formally had an LG Phoenix mobile phone that swayed her from LG and going with the other Android phone guys....... I decided to give LG a chance since it boasted a great 16MP camera. I have not looked back or been disappointed at all. I just came back from taking pics in Cuba at dusk and presented them to a group of colleagues on a 55" flat screen and they first asked me: who took the photo?.... Uh, me. With what camera??? I waved my G4 in the air. Did you use a tripod??? (I didn't answer that one....) I am looking forward to upgrading to a G6 when it's time, but it'll pain me to retire my current phone..... If you travel a lot or just want to take lots of photos of your kids, LG hasn't disappointed me and maybe will bring my wife back when it's her time for an upgrade........

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LGH812 I purchased this phone April 2016 and have no complaints with this cell phone. The quality of pictures taken is awesome, very clear even in low light. All apps and features work flawlessly. being able to remove the battery is something I like. I Also like being able to put a very large micro sd card into the phone for photos etc. AWESOME PHONE
