PHONE OF THE YEAR - LG PRADA PHONE BY LG 3.0

T3 AWARD NOMINEE
The LG Prada Phone 3.0 triumphantly breaks the streak of looks-over-substance fashion phones by bringing glamour and true smartphone functionality within the same pretty 8.5mm thin shell. The Android 2.3 Gingerbread (4.0 upgrade coming soon) brings a custom UI to match its darker feel, displayed on 4.3-inch device which overcomes a relatively low resolution to match some of the best Android phones on the market. The 8-megapixel and 1080p video camera brings a host of automatic and manual settings while a dual-core processor keeps things ticking along nicely in the engine room. An outsider, by a sexy one.

Rated 2 out of 5 by P940 Prada I got this phone as a gift and I like the phone, and who doesn't like PRADA!! very unique. Very good reviews on the hardware, but the Android version is not updating from GingerBread. The NFC feature does not work either and is because it has an older version or Android. The shutter in the camera is very loud and you can't lower the volume. 14 May 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Life's no good with l.g Brought the Phone day it was released, so had the phone before most of the customer service advisors knew prada by lg was made. Had wifi problems from the start had it repaired, repair centre (regenisis) returned the phone back without software update & the phone would not update after they repaired it. Same problem occurred in October 2012 with poor battery performance, sent it to regenisis for repair. Received the phone back in November with secondhand battery & phone repaired supposedly, when I connected to my pc at this point reads it as a Samsung s3. So no updates & still very poor battery performance, charging a minimum of three times a day on light usage. Battery problem got worser on February 2013 sent it to regenisis for repair got told to wait 6 weeks for a replacement battery & the wanted to charge for replacement battery & update for firmwar. Told regenisis where to go & how to get there. Asked for my phone back. Moral of the story is never accept a repair to be done by regenisis, although if its a l.g handset they run the repairs & call centre for l.g. So it is unavoidable when buying l.g. So I would say never I will never buy a l.g handset again even if miuccia prada hand makes the next model. 14 August 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by good phone very user friendly although his phone is user friendly and welcoming to new users of android and lg phones it is let down by the support of lg themselves the android update in the UK is late and when contacted lg do not respond it feels like lg do not care about their customers as long as we are paying them this phone is very very good i like it very much but if you like your phone to be updated with the latest stuff when it becomes available go to Samsung as lg dont update their phones for months and months i would recommend buying this phone as it is a very good phone the apps and games run smoothly and apart from a few lags and slow periods it has been reliable and fast but for the lg staff who read this please get in touch with me about the ics update 03 September 2012
