If the difference between the indoor temperature and the target temperature is big, then as the motor rotation count is set to very high, thus high frequency noises can be heard.
Once the indoor temperature reaches the target temperature, the motor rotation count is reduced to low speed, thus high frequency noises will be reduced.
Causes and Symptoms
- When using the inverter type air conditioner, depending on the target temperature setting and the indoor temperature, the outdoor unit motor can rotate faster or more slowly, thus noises can be loud or low.
Try this
Increase the target temperature for use.
➔ Set the target temperature to the outdoor temperature +/- 5℃.
During early phase of air conditioner operation, due to a big difference between the target temperature and the indoor temperature, the outdoor unit’s motor will rotate very fast, thus high frequency noises can be somewhat loud, but as the indoor temperature goes down gradually, and reaches the target temperature, the outdoor unit's motor will rotate slowly, thus noises will be reduced.
