What People Are Saying

Rated 3.9 out of 5 by 39 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Overall we are very pleased with this product We would best describe ourselves as 'Older Technophobes' so we are still getting to grips with the DVD recorder and it's features. However, the picture quality is excellent and we now have the facility to record onto DVD's so we can revisit films and programmes at a later date. We also have Sky T.V. and this has caused some confusion with the abilities of this machine. For anyone without a satellite provider this device would be much easier to use. 13 May 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Digital DVD Recorder with Hard Drive. I bought this so I can record programmes onto Dvd and send them to Australia for my daughter in law. It makes it so easy to record to hard drive automatically., then dub them over to dvd when I have the time. One of the best features is the speed it can dub at, a 3 hour programme onto dvd in approx. 10 minutes. 11 March 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Didnt even switch on!! Looked quite stylish but didn't switch on!! I assume the fuse inside had blown which means either the Product is not checked before being sold or it has already been used and returned. Either way it was no good!! Shame. 09 January 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Many performance problems and poor reliability This is the worse electrical product I have ever had. Within the first 3 weeks it delevoped a split second break in the soud every 30-60 minutes while viewing - with the same cables our 'old' sony digi box was fine. Curry's blames the cables so we lived with the problem. Then as other customers have reported the Sub Title would be suddenly triggered and could only be removed by running diagnostics - so we lived with this. Then again, as others report, we noticed more and more of the HD recording didn't complete - so we purged right down all stored recordings but it still occasionally happend. Finally we lost the Programs menu so we couldn't see what was scheduled nor use any of the record functionality. We ran a software update hoping it would correct it but no it made the unit worse. So we took it back to Curry's for repair - 3 weeks later after much chasing we were told the unit cannot be repaired nor replaced. This is the first and last LG product I will ever buy. 24 November 2013
