Did you use a rinse aid? (Not drying)

Troubleshooting

A dish dryer is designed to dry dishes with a hot air or hot plate heating method.

Its drying performance is comparably stronger as it focuses on drying for 1~2 hours. It can be likened to turning on a hair dryer for 1~2 hours.

On the other hand, a dish washer focuses on washing dishes. As it uses an indirect drying method of releasing steam with a

drying fan after a hot water washing, Drying may be weaker when compared to a dish dryer.

Did you use a rinse aid?

If no rinse aid is used, drying performance could be poor.

Rinse Aid helps to reduce the surface tension of water, preventing water beads or droplets.

The result is that water runs off the dishes better, instead of spotting. so you should use a liquid

rinse aid for the rinse aid compartment or complex detergent which contains rinse aid component (2 in 1, 3 in 1)

When using rinse aid, check the level of dial, It may need to be increased if drying is still poor.

If you use a tablet with rinse aid only, you might have to use additional liquid rinse aid for better drying

performance. The reason is because the rinse aid in the tablet may not be sufficient or is dissolved

too early. It is important that if combining Tablet rinse aid AND dispenser rinse aid to reduce rinse aid dispenser level (3è1, 4è2)

because too much rinse aid can cause additional issues that can damage glassware.

Rinse Aid used but still poor drying results?

</span>

This may be caused by too little rinse aid being dispensed. Check the dial for rinse aid.

1 is the least amount of rinse  aid dispensed, while 6(or 4 dependant on model) is the highest amount of rinse  Aid dispensed.

If the dial is set on 3 (2) or lower, adjust it to a higher setting.

Also Refill with rinse aid when the Lamp turns on like in the below depiction.

Please check rinse lamp on the display whether Rinse Aid is required.

※ The rinse aid will last 20~30 cycles before requiring a refill.

※ Full amount of Rinse Aid: 120ml from empty, may vary slightly on refill dependant on how long the refill light has been on.

Does water remain on dishes touching each other or back of the dishes?

This is normal.

Water can get trapped at the contact point between a dish or glass and the rack. In deep dishes where water pools,

there is too much water to evaporate during the cycle. Try tilting the dishes so that the water does not collect.

※ How to Fix

Dishes should be loaded in a standing position and not touch each other.

Please leave a door open after drying to let out humid air.

Does water remain on plastic dishes?

This is normal. The drying process is aided by the heat  that the dishes retain from the wash cycle. Plastic  cools faster than glass and metal, so water remains.

Furthermore, plastics can be “oily” which prevents the rinse aid from being as effective.

But  you can increase it by selecting

Extra Hot’ option or open the door slightly at the end of cycle.

All other brands of dishwashers have this same limitation.
