[LG TV] I want to know about the ALLM(Auto Low Latency Mode) feature

Troubleshooting

ALLM is a feature that reduces the duration of delays that occur in the process of game controller input and sound and video output from the TV.

  • ALLM feature is included in 2022 LG OLED TV models by default.

Try this

Are you not able to change the resolution setting on your TV when it is connected to a PS5 console?

If the resolution setting is disabled and causing inconvenience, go to the PS5 setting and switch ALLM to [Off]. You can then adjust the resolution setting.

※ When a PS5 console is connected, the ALLM(Auto Low Latency Mode) feature is set to Auto in order to prevent delays in the input signal response.
As a result, the resolution control setting on the TV is disabled so it is not simultaneously operated with the ALLM feature.

➔ How to turn off the [PS5 ALLM] feature

[ setting button Settings] → [Screen and Video] → [Video Output] → [ALLM] → Off

Select [ setting button Settings] and select [Screen and Video] from the menu that appears.
