[LG TV] How to perform a channel scan (Auto Tuning)

Troubleshooting
  • After purchasing a new TV or moving to a new area, you'll need to perform a channel scan on your TV to view broadcasts from local stations.
  • If you're watching TV with a set-top box, you don't need to scan for channels - just set the external input to the set-top box and you're ready to go.
  • To perform an automatic channel search, an over-the-air antenna or an antenna for receiving UHD broadcasts must be installed and the antenna must be connected to your TV with a cable.
