My washing machine is frozen.

Troubleshooting

   Is your washing machine not working due to the cold weather?     

 Need help
       My washing machine stopped working with [FF] (Freeze Failure)[u51] or [OE] (Water outlet Error) error code appearing on the control panel.  

Shall we take a closer look?
      When cold weather continues it can cause the water remaining inside supply or drain hose to freeze.
      In this case you need to thaw the frozen pipes and hoses.

 Try this
      Use warm water to thaw frozen tub and drain hose.
        - After thawing the tub and drain hose, run a cycle to see if the washing machine is working.

How to thaw frozen tub and drain hose

   ① Empty the tub.  

   ② Pour 50~60 °C water into the tub and close the door and wait for 1~2 hours.

       




   ③ Open Drain Access Panel, remove the plug from the drain hose and drain the water out.
         Plug the drain hose and reinsert it back to its place.   

  ④ Turn on the washing machine and run [Rinse] cycle once to check if it’s working.    

  ⑤ If [IE](Water Inlet Error) error code appears on the control panel and there is no water supply, read and follow below instructions to thaw frozen supply hose.


    Caution
     Do not use boiling water as it can cause serious injuries.  

   Use warm water to thaw frozen faucet and supply hose.
    - Melt down the ice inside the faucet and supply hose and check if the washing machine is working.

     How to thaw frozen faucet and supply hose.
   ① Remove the supply hose from the washing machine and turn on the faucet to see if water comes out.
   ② If no water is coming out, wrap the faucet with warm towel for 5 minutes to thaw.
   ③Soak the supply hose into hot water that is less than 50°C.
       When it’s thawed, reconnect the hose to the washing machine.
   ④ Turn on the washing machine and run [Rinse] cycle once to check if the washing machine is working.

    How to prevent washing machine from freezing.
    When you are not using the washing machine during cold weather, remove the remaining water from the hoses to prevent it from freezing.
    ① Open the Drain Access Panel located at lower front of your appliance and remove plug from the drain hose to drain the water out.
       After draining the water out, plug the hose and reinsert it back to its place.

   





      ② Gently pull out the hose downward to drain the water out.
         Make sure the hose is not kinked and drain the water completely.

  ③ Close the faucet and disconnect the supply hose from the washing machine to remove the water remaining inside
