[LG Washing Machine] Water does not heat up or reach the set temperature

Troubleshooting

Applicable models: Models with the Cotton (Normal) cycle at 40°C (104°F) and 60°C (140°F)

Let's find out more.

If the incoming water is at a normal room temperature of 68°F to 77°F (20°C to 25°C), the washer heats it to the set temperature.
However, if the incoming water is colder than room temperature, it will take longer to reach the set temperature.
To prevent excessive energy consumption, the washer is designed to move to the next cycle after a set time, even if the set temperature has not been reached.

Try this.

This is normal operation and not a product defect. To reduce the wash time, connect the water supply hose to a hot water faucet.
