Try this.
Dampen both mop pads with water and squeeze out any excess water before attaching.
Align the center of each mop pad with the center of each attachment plate, and press them down with the striped sides facing up .
Attaching the mop pads upside down or improperly may reduce cleaning performance.
Two types of mop pads are provided.
Use the regular mop pads for everyday cleaning, and the heavy-duty mop pads for stubborn stains.
Caution

Use the mop nozzle on hard, non-absorbent floors only, such as hardwood, tile, or marble.
Do not use it for purposes other than floor cleaning, such as polishing a car.
