[LG refrigerator] The front or side of the refrigerator is hot and generates a lot of heat.

Troubleshooting

Is the front or side of the refrigerator hot and generating a lot of heat?

In the case of refrigerators, if the internal temperature is low and the surrounding humidity is high, external condensation may occur.
Therefore, to prevent condensation in all refrigerators, pipes that generate heat are built into the inside of the product casing, such as the side, front, and top of the product.
Heat can be generated when the product is used for the first time or when the refrigerator door is frequently opened and the cooling motor [compressor] is running for a long period of time.
Rest assured as it is not a product defect.

Try this

1. It is good to install the refrigerator in a well-ventilated area and install it at a minimum distance of 5cm from the back wall and 5cm from the side wall.

2. If the back of the mechanical compartment is blocked by dust, cleaning the area can also help to disperse the heat.

3. If the product is very hot, a fan or similar device can be turned on and directed towards the bottom rear of the refrigerator for additional cooling.

Installation position of the heating wire

※ The heating wire is embedded in the area marked in red, which is in contact with the door gasket.
