Case 1. Rearrange Your Food, Shelves, and Drawers

don't extend past the shelves.
Reinstall any shelves or drawers you placed incorrectly after
cleaning, making sure nothing sticks out.
Check all sides of your refrigerator door and remove any plastic bags
or wrappers caught in the gap.
Case 2. Clean and Adjust Your Door Gasket
Sticky residue on your door gasket may prevent the door from sealing properly.
- 1. Wet a clean towel with water and warm it up.
- 2. Wipe all four sides of your door gasket with the warm towel. Repeat two or three times.
- 3. Use a dry towel to remove any remaining moisture.
- 4. Close the door and leave it closed for at least two hours to help the gasket form a tight seal.
If part of your door gasket is loose or sagging, align it with the groove in the door and press it firmly into place. Run your hand along the gasket to make sure it is seated evenly.
