Does the dispensed water smell or taste strange?
The taste of the water may differ from what you're accustomed to with your previous water purifier.
If you previously used a purifier from a different company, you may notice a difference in taste of water to your current purifier.
Different companies use varying raw materials in their water filters, which can affect the taste.
Ground water usage can introduce odors.
Nitrate nitrogen and algae components in groundwater can cause a smell in the water.
Groundwater is not recommended for use as it can quickly clog the water filter.
If the purifier has not been used for a long time, you may notice a strange odor.
If you haven't used the water purifier for a long time and are resuming its use, replace the filters.
After replacing the filters, flush out both cold water and ambient water for 5-10 minutes each.
In the summer, you may notice a smell of disinfectant.
During the summer, if excessive chlorine is used for disinfection in the water treatment plant, there may be a temporary smell of disinfectant.
Are there deposits around the water outlet?
If the purifier has not been used for an extended period of time, dust can accumulate around the water outlet.
➔ To ensure clean and hygienic use of the water purifier, periodically clean the inside of the water outlet using a soft cleaning brush.
Neglecting this maintenance may lead to the buildup of water stains, minerals (mainly calcium, magnesium) and other unwanted substances inside the tap.
Therefore, it is essential to clean the water outlet regularly.
After cleaning, flush out some water before resuming normal use of the water purifier.
